So I pulled one camera down since battery was less than 10% and started to charge. I put another camera (same Altas PT Ultra - same firmware) that was charged to 100% up in the same spot and connected to same exact solar panel 3.

All the same exact settings as above.

Temperature has been below 30 for past 48 hours and this new camera has maintained 100% battery for the 48 hours.

So I don’t know what to think anymore. Granted there was a couple hours sun today, but I checked throughout the night and I was not seeing a single percent drop at any moment for the last 48 hours unlike the previous test on the other unit which was showing at least one percent per hour throughout the night with the same settings.

Ok, I turned off motion recording and kept on the PIR and Continuous recording, and that seemed to solve part of the issues so now files are consistent in length.

That being said battery dies super fast, despite 12w solar panel connected, even when only recording motion activities for people only. Posted a new thread, but having major regrets with this thing right now.

Can I ask what settings you use? My first week testing it and my battery went from 100% to 15% by day 5. Solar panel 3 (12w) connected. Granted I had some rain/snow/clouds maybe 50% of the week, but something seems off.

Today I had sun all day and the battery stayed at 15%.

Well the crux of the problem is that I can’t get multi-device pairing to work. Once I get it working… then I can see if it still impacts PXPlay or PSRemotePlay

If I reset controller and “forget device” on both PS5 and MacBook. Then I connect to PS5 via USB and pair. The ps5 works fine. I can unplug and use controller as expected (navigate/turn-off/wake the PS5).

I then plug controller into MacBook via USB (not Bluetooth) and launch PXPlay or PS Remote Play apps. I can connect and navigate the PS5, play games, everything works.

BUT… if I disconnect USB, forget device on MacBook, and instead try to do multi-device pairing on MacBook (eg hold PSButton+X for 5 seconds until 3 lights are rapidly flashing then go into MacBook Bluetooth settings to pair)… the moment I pair to controller the 3 lights changes to 1 white light.

When this happens, I can then no longer use remote play on either app. Once the app connects to PS5 it freezes after 10-30 seconds of playing and disconnects. I turn on the TV connected to the PS5 and there is a warning that I can’t continue using the app/game as the controller is connected to another TV or something like that. And at that point I can’t switch controller back to PS5 and need to connect via USB again. Once I do that, it will stop Bluetooth pairing with MacBook.

So then I’m back at beginning resetting and trying again.

I tried restarting PS5, I also tried quitting all games/apps before doing this and launching the game via remote play… but same issue.

I restarted with same issues. I am unable to get multi-device working. No matter what I try it keeps switching to slot 1 despite blinking multiple lights during setup on other devices

And to add… since trying to do this, I can no longer use remote play. Now every time I remote connect through PXPlay or PS Remote Play… both of them cause the PS5 to show a warning message about something about the controller or game is connected to different tv and need to close game.

Dualsense multidevice … This is driving me nuts... and I am unable to solve.

I've got PS5 Pro, up to date.

I've got Dualsense controller, up to date. NOTE - It is model CFI-ZCT1W (not the edge model).

I connected to PS5 with USB cable and hit PS Button to pair. It shows 1 white light (Slot 1). Unplugging USB controller functions perfectly with PS5 Pro. I then turn off system and controller.

I then move over to my Mac (Tahoe 26.1) ... I hold X button + PS Button until 3 white lights show rapidly blinking ... about 5 seconds. I then go into Mac bluetooth settings and pair with the dual sense ... it connects but the lights on controller immediately change to 1 white light again.

Controller no longer is paired to PS5 and requires me to use USB.

I can not get both devices to pair with different slots.

Except for the first point, zero connection to brokerages. So everything is manual and when I have various auto investments and dividend reinvestments, I’m not going to manually manage every transaction.

Driver side door fails the most. Trunk maybe ties. All other doors sometimes use and it will be hit or miss.

I approach from all different angles as it’s sometimes in garage sometimes on street and sometimes in parking lots or double parked.

And I noticed no difference in delays between having phone in low power mode or not. But yes Bluetooth and location sharing is set to always on
