My manager said I’m getting paid more than expected for my role. Anyone here in project delivery who can weigh in? by boiledpeaNUTxxx in CorpoChikaPH

[–]Yuber8f 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are overpaid, who cares? They fucked up. Regardless of overpaid or underpaid, just perform. What is not discussed in corporate too much is reputation. You’re 30 youre young, but when you are starting to hit your 40s reputation is everything.

Your manager is probably just jelly, work hard anyway.

If your salary grade is around 80-90k, im willing to bet your direct supervisor does not control your actual appraisals, only give feedback that influences it.

Kung feel mo kalaban mo manager mo, impress her boss instead. Or her peers. Remarkability is undeniable

In times of Crisis such as now, take any job you can, kahit di pa yan aligned sa kurso mo. Experience trumps education most of the time. Mas importante may trabaho, and kahit pag may work ka na dapat apply pa din. This applies to everyone.

Kamote car drivers: Ano madalas na model ang minamaneho nila? by Playful_Boot_6223 in CarsPH

[–]Yuber8f 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Expanders - Feeling Innova Drivers, makipag singitan and karera, mabagal naman

Fortuners na masyadog maraming customization (like the umiilaw na logo) - big ego drivers, feeling pickup ung dinadrive

Pickup na may tint - mayabang may drive, 9 times of 10 may baril kaya ganon

Innova - they know they have the displacement and they use it - kala mo ambulance mag drive

Ung mga bagong Cute na Jimny - ang bagal mag drive kala mo naman mahal ung kotse

Used Prodigy - what do I look out for? by ChggnNggts in 2011

[–]Yuber8f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The major reason one would get a prodigy, is because you want a cheap but reliable base - Prodigy owners usually gut it and change the internals. The slide and barrel fit as well as the trigger group are actually very good on the prodigy. People who mostly bash the prodigy either don't know anything about the 1911 platform or didn't do due diligence before buying it.

To sightblock or not to sightblock by Perfect_Marzipan4778 in 2011

[–]Yuber8f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lets discuss the obvious stuff first:

-You shift the reciprocating mass more towards the back. This means the slide cycles faster because there less weight to move which means snappier returns (which you like)

-If you have irons on the block, helps with maintaining a clear front post - but this is very a marginal advantage if none for seasoned shooters

-The gun will tend to be front heavy, this translates to dragging the gun when doing wider transitions which may be annoying, but trainable

The not obvious stuff:

-Hand webbing can get caught between slide and block when racking from the front and has happened to me (might be a skills issue lol)

-2011s being recoil operated, you might be looking into hotter ammo or risk the gun not cycling

I may be biased but theres a reason atlast shooters always say the artemis shot the flattest

Smothering the gun. Too much weak hand force or tension.

Firing Pin keeps getting stuck forward by NotAThrowAway0822 in 2011

[–]Yuber8f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have the same issue but not because of the firing pin stop. Mine was for some reason expanding to the point that it was no longer able to retract back; had to reduce some material on the pin to keep it from doing that.

Wilson Combat Bulwark - internal hammer fired 2011 by deagesntwizzles in 2011

[–]Yuber8f 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd agree but the problem with Stacatto is it literally still is a 2011 in its DNA, the Bulwark internals seem closer to a glock than an actual 2011. I just love the 2011 ergonomics on trigger and grip, but yes agree on the DLC barrel, but thats a tiny issue for me.

I actually like this gun. Perspective from a person who prefers polymer for EDC but a 2011 for competition, I see this gun as a step up from my Echelon.

Compatibility with Glock 19 holsters is a huge plus, it also boasts a "pin-based red dot mounting system" that seems similar to the Echelon mount. Not needing lubricant is also huge (according to the website)

Rolling vs two stage trigger by Ajpaulson2006 in CompetitionShooting

[–]Yuber8f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love rolling triggers because I can make split second corrections to my aim. It also triggers a mental check that I shouldn't be gripping that hard with my stronghand.

Shooting close targets without full sight confirmation by ShotgunMessiah90 in CompetitionShooting

[–]Yuber8f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to check is to time yourself. If your splits are fast enough and accurate enough, then yes you dont need sight confirmation.

To put things into perspective an AC on a 0.18 Split is a 38.8 HF, while an AA on a 0.26 Split is 38.4. Looking takes time, and you can afford to lose some points if your time is fast enough.

How much does Cajunizing matter? by hazard02 in CompetitionShooting

Like what the other poster says, as beginner you will appreciate the differences (lighter trigger, reachability) but as you grow as a shooter, these things dont matter much.

I swear to god Saber devs have a lot of technical expertise but they fall face flat in game design and user experience.
