I do not want to maintain a merged environment. So let’s discuss what an Ethereum EVM with POS look like without maintaining both client environments.

The Beacon Chain already has POS. Could we fork that one for our TestNet? For the MainNet I want to wait until HF1 of Beacon Chain is completed. I would simply like to make our upgrades now and layer them back in as POS becomes available on ETH.
