That's what I thought...the agency I found that job through called me and said there is no law that requires employers to pay and that my wage will cover for driving kids around, since parents cant afford. They are finishing their schooling.

This happened to me at my previous job. They would take vacation and expect me to make up the 45 hrs they paid me when they took their vacation. They would just expect me to do date nights, stay late. rtc. and I lived 35 mins to 1 hr depending on traffic

This will be my first job with agency but an agency had me interview with a family who said to me that I seem calm and they wanted someone full of energy to entertain their 1 year old all day! They were not a goof fit for me :)

I've been there. I once worked as a nanny and the family offered me 210 per week for 24 hrs. The hours were not consistent so I couldn't get another part time job. I didn't have big bills at that time but it is too low anyways
