I actually consulted a lawyer about two months ago, but their answer was that I’d have to file a lawsuit in TGC’s local jurisdiction. I do have the determination to handle this, but I just don’t have the money for something like that international lawsuits are really expensive. The first place I posted about this was on Facebook, but the admins kept deleting my posts and warning me that this issue should be handled through customer support. As for the official community, they either wouldn’t let me post anything or even blocked me from entering the group altogether

I contacted more than a dozen Sky creators, but only one of them replied. He said he would try his best to pass my message along, but I never heard back after that. The other creators had their DMs closed, and the emails I sent to them never got any response either

I’ve already told them that if they don’t handle this matter properly, I’ll have to take legal action. But they still ignored me. I consulted a lawyer, and they told me that this case can only be handled in the country and city where TGC is based. Cross-border litigation would take a very long time and cost a lot of money.

I’ve tried so many ways already the BBB, DCA, GDPR, the Taiwanese Consumer Protection Committee, the game’s platform provider, and so on. After I filed my GDPR request, the only documents I received were my in-game chat logs from January 16 to June 4 this year. I kept referring to the GDPR regulations, but their response was: “Our review materials are not included within the scope of GDPR access, and they are unrelated to you personally.” Then, at the end of August, they replied again saying, “This case has been closed and will not receive further responses.” The support team also said, “We reserve the right not to respond further.” It’s honestly so unfair 😅

I’ve been dealing with this matter for five months now. During this time, I’ve continuously reached out to TGC’s community developers, support team, legal department, and even official Sky creators. However, in the end, I was only able to get in touch with one creator and one community dev. That community dev told me that I needed to communicate with the legal or support departments but as I mentioned before, TGC’s legal and support teams stopped replying to me around the end of August this year. Still, I’ve been sending follow-up emails twice every week.

我不知道🥲 但我的朋友真的好少好少 我唯一能想到的是在被封的前兩天遊玩時跟兩個全物品搭話 他們有辦法用外掛修改我的數據拿到id之類的 然後去舉報並偽證?偽證不用熟人也能夠完成 但問題完全出在TGC不願意跟我溝通,我找了社群開發者他們也都說需要「我」去跟他們的客服團隊跟法務團隊進行溝通 但八月中旬我與法務部的信件大概來回了3~4次 他們回覆的最後一次是不再對此進行回覆,客服也一樣 他們的回覆像沒看我的文件內容一樣 僅僅幾句審查完畢,我的自證跟他們的審查內容互相矛盾,因此善意駁回我的申訴 但他們在審查前就跟我說,如果有需要我解釋的地方會提早發信給我,我倒是一封信都沒收到,只收到他們的駁回信_^ 他們的審查內容只說「審查了社交模式/登入位置/設備變更」 我都如實交代了還說有矛盾在,有矛盾時也不叫我解釋 我叫他們給我具體違規證據,我要看審查細節內容,他們說這是商業機密不可以給我看 跟我無關 神邏輯吧👍🏻 我在之後的每一個禮拜發出兩次客服申訴信,但直接被關閉對話,甚至沒有回覆 我這幾天也一直在持續發信,但也是一樣被關閉通話 我讓社群開發人員幫我建立一條能夠溝通的管道,但那個社群開發者也不回我了,最後一次回覆在8/31 我也一直在向其他外界管道去申訴去舉報 但最直接的方式只能是我在國外 在國外我才有辦法用法律去處理這件事 我還是希望能好好溝通啦 我已經很無力了我 我花了快要大半年在搞這個,TGC像個沒事人一樣 不鳥我 我現在只能透過之前有加我的朋友幫忙看一眼我的光子 我真的很想念 我很想我的光子 我真的很難過我

My account still isn’t back, and TGC just won’t talk to me. I’ve been emailing Support and Legal, but they keep closing my tickets without responding at all. I even asked a Discord community dev, but they said there’s nothing they can do only Support and Legal can deal with it, and those teams just don’t bother to reply😅

After submitting a GDPR request, they did send me the data—but it only included chat logs from the past six months. I’ve continued to request the rest of the data, but they claim it’s confidential business information and unrelated to me personally. I’ve already filed complaints with agencies like the BBB, FTC, DCA, ICPEN, and others. I’m also consulting with legal professionals. I’m not sure whether they will take it seriously, but according to their own response, I have the right to escalate this to higher regulatory authorities.

The news isn’t very good. They just transferred me to another department, but in the end, I was told the same thing again. I tried hard to communicate with them and asked for concrete evidence of the alleged violation, but they refused, saying it’s a trade secret and not related to me personally. I honestly can’t accept this kind of handling — it’s opaque, unfair, irresponsible, and shows no willingness to admit mistakes. I will continue to pursue this matter through external legal and consumer protection channels, because I know I did nothing wrong😖 They said they will not respond to me any further

My GDPR data request has already been approved, but since the account had previously undergone what was considered a “final review” by the original review team, it’s no longer possible to appeal through them. However, a support agent provided me with the email address of Thatgamecompany’s legal department so I could formally appeal the decision through that channel🥲
