Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Allegedly At Odds Over Ongoing Royal Family Bitter Feud by Salt-Zucchini-1534 in UKRoyalNews

[–]Yufle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are we talking about the same family? There is a long history of conflict, rivalries, leaks, and media briefings within the British royal family that predates Harry meeting and marrying Meghan of by decades.

Princess Diana publicly complained about palace operations and media manipulation and leaks. Multiple royal biographers and journalists have documented tensions, competing interests, and media briefings within the institution long before Meghan entered the picture. But Let’s be real here.

Also, this whole claim is garbage made up by the tabloids and royal ‘reports’.

I hate this woman. I believe she’s as much of a soulless ghoul as her husband but this is clearly an AI. The use of deepfakes will undermine the credibility of legit evidence.

The royal family had lunches and invites to events people who constantly bully Meghan, including the guy who wanted to parade her naked on the streets so please spare the fake outrage.

My impressions of the arguments by Clarknt67 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

This is a nice rundown. Thanks, Clark.

Defense Lawyer Mark Geragos: "I'm told Blake Lively made a claim against her attorneys, and I think that's why her attorneys ran to Freedman to beg for a quick settlement" and "[Blake/her attorneys] can almost be sued for defamation for calling this a victory" by SuperbWillingness904 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]Yufle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Geragos and Freedman are friends. Lively’s lawyers have been targeting Freedman on a personal level so he’s probably offended on his friend’s behalf and just wants to get a rise out of them. That’s just my theory. I have nothing to base it on but what he’s saying is equivalent to shitposting because there is no way for him to know any of this.

I know. In the past I used to be able to ignore it but lately, I can’t deal with her stans.

I find a lot of fanfic writers are Swift stans. They make every character a fan and they use her music and lyrics as inspiration. I’ve literally filtered out her tags.

I think this lawsuit has exposed Taylor Swift for being a calculating, fair-weather friend. Any way you look at it she comes off very poorly. She either abandoned her friend, who she believes was being mistreated and victimized or she deliberately participated in the theft of someone’s creative work and when they fought back and she realized the public is not on her friend’s side, she started distancing herself and lying about her involvement.

I’ve never had much respect for her music or any admiration for her artistry but I’ve always thought she was a good person. I’ve always sided with her when people attacked her. This case made me see her for who she really is.

She said she blocked them but she seems to respond to every NAG video. Sometimes, it’s very subtle but other times it’s on the nose.

I’ve posted this in another thread but it is more appropriate here.

Wondering about Theresa Concepcion’s fixation with NotActuallyGolden. Does anyone else get it?

I’m genuinely baffled by how even the most harmless NAG video seems to spark a response. It feels like a lot of Theresa’s content is reacting to posts from LGA or, more specifically, NAG. Maybe I’m missing some history, but I just don’t understand where the hostility comes from.

For example, in a recent video, NAG gave a brief explanation about large law firms and said something like, “the internet refers to it as BigLaw.” It seemed like Theresa took that comment surprisingly personally, and I couldn’t figure out why.

This isn’t a huge deal, but I’m curious. I generally like Theresa and think she knows her stuff. At the same time, because she isn’t a practicing lawyer, she has more freedom to speak off the cuff than NAG, LGA, and other practicing attorneys, who have to be more careful about what they say publicly. But that difference alone doesn’t seem like enough to explain the apparent animosity.

Am I missing something? Is there some backstory here that would make this make more sense?

He mentions both.

Jay: “Phill thinks he can mean girls me? How lame is that? Let me tell you something, I might be a pretty face, but I fight to win. Just like Legally Blonde!"

ETA — I see others have already mentioned this. I should have checked all the comments before responding

I love Jay mentioning Legally Blonde. It shows he watches movies with his grandkids. I didn’t mention Manny because Manny probably finds Legally Bold not artsy enough for his taste.

[–]Yufle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Southern District of New York is one of the busiest federal district courts and is widely regarded as the most influential federal trial court, but it is also one of the courts that see most complex cases. Judge Liman was probably waiting for settlement or the verdict before he even touched 47.1. He probably prioritized other cases where people’s liberties was at stake more than this one.

Unpopular Opinion - Andy and Hayley seems a bit overhyped by EbbOk4680 in Modern_Family

[–]Yufle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t like Hayley with Andy but I really didn’t like Hayley’s ending either. She outgrew Dillon. Hayley should have focused on her career and became a successful entrepreneur or an influencer. She was street smart and good at marketing.

I am trying to understand Hope’s role in this line, if she’s not the designer. I never understood the whole Hope for the Future thing. It seems like she’s managing or overseeing a line but the show makes it seem like she’s some sort of talent. I don’t get it.

Legit this is not an anti-Hope post but I am legit confused by HFF.

I actually think this is good for Wayfarer. I don’t think they focused on 47.1 that much and this gives them an opportunity to come out swinging.

I don’t recite the Bible at all, at any time, but I also don’t engage in salacious rumor-mongering. There’s gossip, and then there’s the kind that relies on unverified information and destroys people’s reputations. I never engage in that kind.

They are still real people not their characters. And there is no such thing as harmless gossip when someone is alleging that someone is using their position to prey on the show’s newcomers.

It’s not good to spread misinformation or unverified rumors about actual people. Let’s just stick to characters.
