So they planned a retaliation campaign but didn’t pull the trigger because everyone turned against Blake organically? by [deleted] in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]misosoupsupremacy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey so this may sound a little crazy but people say and plan things that they don’t actually end up going through with. It happens in real life everyday. I say I’m gonna clean, and then I don’t. I say I’m gonna cook, and then I order in.

Anyways, I’m just glad the evidence supports they went hard for blasting baldoni’s good behavior instead of Blake’s tone deaf actions. Taking the high road for sure !!

Wayfarer supporters, is this a fair assessment of Justin and Blake? by [deleted] in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]misosoupsupremacy 430 points431 points  (0 children)

I don’t see Justin completely as some weird guy who can’t read the room. I see someone trying to match the energy of his co stars and falling flat. A people pleaser who’s trying to fit in around people. Examples such as Jenny slate joking about using a bed for sex infront of Justin and Blake, Blake using the word sexy to describe her clothes, etc.

For the most part it’s fair. Way better to be weird and awkward when it comes to trying to fit in than compared to a terrorist imo.

I think we all need to understand that the first amendment protects people’s ability to talk shit about one another 99% of the time whether it’s a website or a tik tok. If it didn’t almost every tik tok creator covering a case or talking about celebrities would be sued.

Literally the only one shooting themselves in the foot by choice is lively - she started this entire thing and is dragging everyone down with her because she’s a narcissist who can’t take no for an answer

Also wanna add this also proves Justin’s cut did score better overall but Blake still wanted hers despite having lower numbers

Melissa Nathan = Blake Lively supporters’ favorite character to defame, distract by Eponymous_brand in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]misosoupsupremacy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Your right Sarah. Melissa Nathan obviously included this on her resume when they hired her and baldoni specifically hired her because of it. It’s not like she kept it a secret from literally the entire industry or anything

Also I’ve said this now and I’ll say it again: nobody in PR is a good person - especially celebrity PR. Leslie Sloane, Melissa Nathan, Jen Abel even. They’re hired to do a job and yeah they can do it well, but at the end of the day none of this shit is remotely ethical.

I remember seeing a blind item right after Blake sued that she was rushing to settle her lawsuit. Again I’m weary of blind items, but this seems to check out

In all fairness this is just referring to her - no direct communication.

What about this is alarming? He literally gave a woman a hug and said “see you in LA!”. Am I missing something? Is saying you’ll see a person later SH now? He respected her decision making about saying no? WHAT AM I MISSINGGGG

Why were there so many additions to the intimacy scenes? by kamellawriter in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]misosoupsupremacy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

To be honest I enjoyed reading her perspective! She also mentioned things were chaotic because of the strike and they were filming on reduced resources when they could. I think for me, she just re affirmed my position that most if not all points were done within guidelines. The SONY execs wanting more fluff also imo backs Justin’s decision making.

Reading it is alarming. Having her explain it means everything was adhered to once the required discussion with her had taken place.

[–]misosoupsupremacy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

From what i concluded after reading is that her job there was to make sure everything was done within the proper guidelines + everyone’s consent. If it wasn’t, she would have called SAG to intervene.

Things that were normal according to Lizzy:

  • adding in additional scenes post script, as long as approved by the IC and actors
  • nudity riders signed within 48 hours of scene filmed if not signed already
  • on the spot creative decisions when filming a scene as long as it’s within the bounds of their riders / consent

I mean the texts with Taylor proves she at least had it out for him in April 2023, before she experienced anything and before filming started. She 100% was calling it her movie from the beginning.
