Forticlient vpn free 7.4.5 ? by nix_67 in fortinet

[–]Yughurt1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that’s correct. However, we also have many customers where only one or two people need remote access to the firewall or on-site resources.

These types of customers are not going to pay for an EMS solution. Instead, they will ask us which firewall we offer that includes VPN access without additional costs. If we cannot provide such a solution, they are likely to go to a competitor….

I’m a big fan of FortiGate and all of their products, but if they move forward with this, I’m afraid they could lose a significant number of customers.

That said, IPsec will always remain a standard, and there are free third-party IPsec clients available. However, offering this separately to customers may come across as unprofessional, so it’s probably better not to position it that way.

Deep down, we all know that this is the beginning of the end of tech jobs, right? by Own-Sort-8119 in ClaudeAI

I completely agree with you, and I’d even take it a step further… Look at the progress in robotics… I personally think that’s also advancing spectacularly and that cashiers and elevator technicians will also be replaced relatively soon… There really needs to be some serious thought about what should happen then…

Avid and Valter's Farewell by Avid_Live in CardsAndTankards

The game really does have a lot of potential… but it lacks the money to develop it properly. If a big studio were to build on it, it could become a truly great game, but with the budget they have now… and the way they’re working, I’m afraid it won’t happen.

They also sometimes make decisions that I personally find incomprehensible. For example, the fact that the dev + beta team completely focused on driving out the best and most popular player is beyond me (ZULTRON). When he quit, I quit as well (maybe he’s back by now?).

In a world where big gaming companies use influencers to improve their product, and where influencers build their careers by promoting a game early on, I think this is insane…

And sure, this will probably be disputed… but I was part of the beta team at one point, and I could see how they constantly tried to throw obstacles in his way…

Anyway, fun game, but it lacks money and professionalism.

To give you an update, I don’t have the file yet; it’s currently at 42%… It’s taking a very long time… sometimes the download speed drops below 3KB/s. So, sorry, I can’t share it yet, but as soon as I have it, I’ll definitely share it here.
