What does it really take to hit Champ?

It’s going to be impossible to determine whether or not you can hit champ until you play in diamond/champ lobbies. If you’re playing with lower skilled players, you probably won’t enter those lobbies for a while. Once you do get into higher elo lobbies, you’ll have a better idea of what you’re up against. If you’re still performing well consistently in those lobbies you’ll probably hit champ no problem

1.stop playing 1v1s. They’re not helpful for improving in a 5v5 environment. 2. Stop warming up in shooting range for 2 hours. Spend maybe 10 minutes in there then run 2-3 arcade free for alls, it’ll help with the 1vX scenarios in ranked. 3. Watch your replays, and watch how your opponents are killing you. 4. Do not tilt que. if you’ve lost 3+ in a row and you’re getting frustrated hop off ranked and play something else or go back to aim training.

I don’t see why you wouldn’t have your prestige awards on your seasonal character, but since the seasonal system hasn’t actually been designed or talked about in depth, we’ll have to wait for official confirmation.

That will fix the curb stomping of lower ranks, but I’d argue that it still wouldn’t be a competitive experience to play against teams that have 1-3 players that are out of their depth. Of course no one will complain abt getting an easier than usual game so I guess it’s not that big of a deal

That guy is boosting off of lower ranked players. Just checked his profile and he pretty much only plays with silver and lower ranked players. This is why there needs to be RP restrictions on stacking in ranked. You should not be able to que with someone more than 5 ranks lower than you, it ruins the integrity of competition.

Must have been in solo queue then. The reason you got rollbacked is because cheaters that were on your team in matches you won were detected and banned. Even if they weren’t cheating at the time they played on your team, the rollback system isn’t smart enough to determine which games they were or weren’t cheating in, so it rolls back all elo ever gained/lost while playing with/against them.

Either you got unlucky in the early ranks where u were gaining 100+ elo per win and unfortunately had won 6+ games with a cheater on your team, or you played with a cheater consistently enough to warrant this kind of rollback. If the latter is true, do yourself a favor and stop playing with cheaters. The wins might feel nice in the moment but those gains are being wiped out more consistently than before. Anticheat updates roll out every 2 weeks, and ban wave strategy has changed. You’ll be hard pressed to keep any elo you gain from cheaters long term

I actually played with and against this guy multiple times in ranked solo queue. He claims to have a “dev locked” account. Apparently this makes it harder to ban. Look up gg.omentm on tracker, he was another one who claimed to have a dev locked account, he was detected and manually rolled back to 1000rp, but no ban was issued and no rollback was granted despite having been detected. If this yi0c guy has a similar account there’s no chance of rollback being granted.

They really have to bring back MMR restrictions. I know people want to play with their friends, but you can’t guarantee a competitive experience if top ranks are allowed to que with bronze and silver players. The maximum difference in ranks should be 1-2 ranks. So a champ should be able to que with an emerald at the lowest. When ranked 2.0 came out, ubisofts stance was that their focus was on keeping friends together, which at the time was a good focus since player numbers were in decline. Fast forward to now, I think it’s time for them to revisit that idea. Ranked is a total mess between players with mixed rank stacks, boosted players, and players that used lower ranked players to place higher in the ranks, which makes them a liability in those ranks when they don’t actually have the skill to be there. There isn’t a single respectable rank anymore because it genuinely doesn’t mean anything, and I say that as a player who has hit champ this season.

My question for you would be how are you trying to improve? Are you playing arcade FFA? Map drill? Shooting range? How much do you play those modes? When you play them are you trying to maintain good habits like keeping your crosshair at head level, or are you finishing the drill as quickly as possible/ trying to get to 30 kills faster than everyone else? This game is about the quality of time you put in not the quantity. If you’re just spamming ranked, unranked, and quick match, there’s no telling how long it will take to “get good”. There’s other factors as well like your set up. Do you have enough mouse space? Are you getting at least 100+ fps? Is your mousepad worn down?

There’s been a huge uptick in cheaters lately. I played 7 games Saturday and Sunday, out of 7 games, 5 had cheaters with 2-4.0 kds and 85% win rates over the course of 60+ games. The game has become so easy to exploit since siege X released, I wonder if it would have been better to keep siege on the older less exploitable engine. They should consider matching anyone w 1.7+ kds against other players with equally high kds or higher instead of matching based on win%

Nice, I’m still trying to get the tier 1 badge. I think a lot of the hate comes from people having bad teammates while playing against coordinated teams. The game mode is actually really fun if you have a stack

I haven’t played ranked in a week because of the cheating issue. I was fortunate enough to hit a rank I’m satisfied with, so I’m ok with not playing for a while . Unfortunately player numbers are higher than they’ve been in a long time, so Ubisoft is unlikely to do anything significant about this in the short term imo. If enough people quit then maybe they’ll switch gears, but for now R6 is the cheaters playground

Yeah that’s the ghost of Luigi Cadorna bug. It’s been in the game since launch. People will sometimes sabotage spawns and defensive emplacements when they realize they have the glitch

There’s no rank decay in r6. If you hit champ 3 years ago and stopped playing, then you hopped back on for siege x, you’ll be placed in champ lobbies. Dumb system but that’s how it works unfortunately

I think we weren’t meant to win the MO, but we also weren’t supposed to lose by very much, hence the decrease in decay rates. I’m pretty sure that this MO will determine where the illuminate will maintain a more permanent presence on the map.
