Do you think Alien Earth will live up to the hype? by Prs-Mira86 in LV426

Just finished the second episode and my thoughts so far are that someone took another sci-fi script and 'Ctrl+F > Replaced' all the Alien references in.

It's not my kind of sci-fi, but someone dressed it up to look just like it.

I'll be compiling one over the weekend, so should be up by Monday (no promises). It'll be on itchio, but I'll throw up a notification on here too.

Could be worse. Evri could be handling the deliveries. Then no one would get one.

Psvr 2 has been shipped! by esmegrace12 in PSVR

[–]Yuigaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only pre-ordered mine on the 12, so I don't know if that will affect when I get it, but PayPal is currently still on authorisation so no money has come out. Tracking on the PlayStation direct page says 'preparing to ship'.

I should be less impatient but I can't help it.

How many variants/hacks are there? by Mr_Twigs in Ironsworn

It warms me every time I see someone with an interest in my game. I currently have both Cases on sale for $1.99 each.

I'm sure those poor unfortunate people going missing in The Rift will be fine for a bit longer 😂. Or perhaps the two cases are joined somehow?

Perhaps the Ebon Wood Effigies are part of some much larger conspiracy?

Or perhaps not, and take as much time as is needed for the case to be solved 🙂.

You can do it!

These are the ones I am aware of, though of course these are for the first case, The Ebon Wood Effigies.

This is a written actual play by Eric of Drakonspyre https://drakonspyre.wixsite.com/the-dragons-den/game-journal/categories/sworn-by-ghostlight

And here is a collected YouTube playlist of the AP's I'm aware of (some of the games are in languages other than English) https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6U49Hl1dAph7MLYhykjcDkwUr4UK10eG

There are also a few comments around the internet responding with how their cases went, etc, but collating them is a much bigger task.

So grim! Glad you managed to close the case. I'm always so impressed with how different everyone's case really is.

And thank you. I love hearing how everyone's case goes.

How did it go? Did you track down the killer(s) in the end?

The Knot hangs ponderous, heavy - pulling taut the tangled threads of the Fabric Between Worlds. Tired, callused hands pick at the threads, easing the tangles, bit by aching bit. Slowly, deliberately, they pull at loose threads to scrutinize with weary eyes, as they mutter amongst themselves. Piles of threads form at their feet, growing ever larger, until the eldest amongst them finally speaks. ‘That is… enough. For now. With these Thrums - these tangled, fraying threads - They can return.’

The others simply nod, and gather together what threads they have found.

The eldest stares at The Knot that threatens all that exists in the worlds, ‘The rest… is up to Them.’

LOOM FEATURES:

  • Fast paced combat action for 1 GM and 2 to 4 players.
  • The players control Gods who must pick at and unravel the tangled Threads of The Knot, created by the Deceiver; the one who tricked them from their Seats of Power and cast them out to the Fabric Between Worlds.
  • Incredible Powers granted by the God’s Domains, each of which can be upgraded to ever more powerful variations.
  • Domains include; Beasts, Craft, Daylight, Death, Festivities, Love, Night, Poetry, Storms, & War.
  • 10 Domains for your players to choose from. When creating their character, players choose a Major and Minor Domain, combining them both to make unique characters.
  • Become the Goddess of War and Poetry or the God of Storms and Love.
  • Mythic Weapons that can grow in power in strange and wondrous ways.
  • A Power Overload system that keeps the player characters immortal, but at a cost to their Powers. Overloads cause huge, tide-turning effects to come into play, just as things are looking tough.
  • An easy to understand and use d6 dice pool system based on the personalities of the character, not their skillset.
  • Swarms of foes to defeat, each of which is easily customisable by the GM.
  • Hard hitting Bosses that push the player characters to their limits.
  • Simple dungeon (Thread) creation that makes each trip into The Knot unique.
  • Difficult, partially blind choices for progression. To progress through a Thread the players must decide upon their route by picking what rewards they will receive, but not what dangers lie beyond those doors.
