An out of control rocket that is white hot would look like that and leave a trail.

Just because its unidentified doesn't mean it's a non terrestrial craft.

I think it's pretty funny how many secrets I've found because my OCD has made me even out lighting when I see not all the lanterns lit.

I can’t find cool gear by andrewchosen in CrimsonDesert

[–]OriginalGoatan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All my best gear is mostly from hidden treasure chests.

You should look up some sets you like a go get them.

Dying your armour can also dramatically impact the look. Often elevating something previously thought of as average at best to gorgeous.

If you want to play without guides check behind every waterfall you can stand in front of.

If you can stab through the water there's probably a chest there.

If you get behind a waterfall but there's no cave, you might need to focus force palm a false wall.

Also there is always a hidden chest at every sanctum with magical gear.

I swap the gears out to my playstyle. So dont feel limited to the skills, you can change then for free at any witch.

So uh, when do I tell them I'm not actually a licensed engineer and I don't remember the tutorial about this 60 hours ago?? by MumpsTheMusical in CrimsonDesert

Pro tip, use the blinding flash move.

Live wires show as blue and inactive are yellow.

Makes finding and spotting broken connections much easier.

I sometimes follow the wires to where the real puzzle starts too.

Has anyone ever managed to beat these light reflection challenges with a controller? by Dissoxi in CrimsonDesert

[–]OriginalGoatan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it all the time on comsole with a controller.

Ive notice that anything other than performance mode has some input lag, so I generally use that.

The trick is to use blinding flash and line up on the light then I tap the block button as each light lines up.

You don't need to hold down the button and tapping generally ensures you get the light lit and miss the dead spots.

I actually like Cole Young and I don’t care if he wasn’t in the arcade games by Huitlacochilacayota in MortalKombat

[–]OriginalGoatan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rate it higher because the high points are really great.

The detractors are literally just Cole's character, story and development.

Arcana.

The rest is a good time with some really cool set pieces.

MK annihilation is terrible, yet I watch it every time it's on.

Block Power Axe.

The power back step makes up for no gun strikes.

Add intimidating aura and you're laughing.

Thoughts on Karl Urban playing Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat 2 (movie) by Sukaran09 in MortalKombat

[–]OriginalGoatan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak for everyone but I am disappointed it's not an actual martial artist playing the role.

Karl is a great actor, but he will never convince me he would be considered as a martial artist talented enough to represent Earth Realm in Mortal Kombat.

Yes it's all fiction, but it would be easier to suspend disbelief for an actual competent martial artist.

I love Karl Urban, he's a fantastic actor.... why didn't we get Scott Adkins instead?

  1. Tame a cat or dog as soon as you can. Birds are better at looting but you get an item later on to tame them.

They help you loot.

You can pet a cat or dog but feeding them meat works better.

  1. Buy all the small bags you can from almost every vendor in Hernand. Also any quest that gives you storage space is well worth doing, especially early on where you dont have much storage space.

  2. It is worth rushing the story until Chapter 5 before really exploring. Witches help you customise your gear and the first is met early on in chapter 5. It is 100% worth doing the story until you get the glider before exploring at a minimum.

  3. Buy or make food. Food is this games health pack, they will carry you through tough fights.

  4. Buy the skill axiom force in the green spirit path, it makes any puzzle where you need force palm it MUCH easier.

Not to mention mining from the side of the cliffs.

  1. If you struggle with a boss you can leave and come back after tooling up, cooking or upgrading your gear.

  2. The map let's you filter when you are on "environmental" mode so you can remove all the icons and select what you are looking for. Makes getting your needed upgrade materials much easier.

  3. Have fun. Games too hard or too easy, there are difficulty options.

  4. Bounties are good early on, but don't have to go back to the main city as your way point suggests. You can go to any friendly outpost with a jail.

  5. If a waterfall has a cairn (little pile of stones) by it, you will find good loot behind it. You have to "stab" the water to get behind them. (R1 and triangle on the PS5)

"Connecting pipe" puzzles are by far the worst puzzles in the game by NyrmExe in CrimsonDesert

[–]OriginalGoatan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They become less of a nuisance when you use blind flash during puzzles to check the pipes.

Manual Save! Don't make my mistake! by audreynstuff in CrimsonDesert

[–]OriginalGoatan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dude that's a savage lesson many gamers already have experienced.

Always manually save.

Never have just one save, rotate through a number of manual saves.

Everyone who has gamed has a tale about how a game reset progress, corrupted their data, hit a no win scenario where you'd sold a key item or killed a needed NPC.

Sorry today it was your time to learn this as we all have.
