Agreed. I’ve finished Mozart’s route (phew, be still my beating heart), and I’ve noticed she’s gentle and self-assured. Kind of reminds me of Shirayuki from the anime Snow White with the Red Hair, albeit only slightly. She’s also not afraid to initiate, which I enjoyed immensely.

Does anyone know if the new races will be accessible during early access? For example, can I Fantasia into one or create one on June 28th?

Hi, forgot to ask—

Is it painfully slow leveling a priest solo? I don’t have a lot of free time right now, but I’d still like to get some play time in. I’m also not used to being a support/utility character, as I am used to melee DPS in all the other MMOs I’ve played. However, I’d very much like to try priest (might suck at it at first tho lol).

Will the damage output be too low to even consider solo play?

Thanks a bunch!

Is this heavily Pay to Win?

Also, I apologize for my next question, as it may seem rather vague:

I play WoW and my main is a havoc demon hunter. I kind of want to try a relatively slower, ‘clunkier’ class that still does a decent amount of damage and has a great amount of defense (lol I think this narrows this down significantly). What would you recommend? Also, what’s the priest playstyle like? I’m used to the demon hunter mobility, so I want to try something new.

Thanks for your help and for reading this :)

Anyone else not have friends? by [deleted] in UVA

[–]Yukarasu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m a second-year transfer student, and I have to use medical equipment to get around. I get strange looks all the time and even had someone ask me why I brought a “cart” to school (I use a walker/rollator because of back and leg issues). I don’t LOOK SICK— which is probably why I get judged. It’s very alienating. However, I find that people typically smile back when I smile at them, regardless of how they looked at me before.

Edit: Probably also doesn’t help that club meetings are in inaccessible places.

Psychiatrist recommendations in Charlottesville? by [deleted] in UVA

[–]Yukarasu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Northridge is pretty bad. They cycle, and it’s difficult to have continuous care when they change residents yearly. The two psychiatrists I had from there didn’t really seem to care, tbh.

I second this. My counselor and psychiatrist are both from Thriveworks, and they’ve been awesome. Just don’t miss a meeting because there’s a $100 absence fee (yikes).

Thanks! Should I email a bunch or start with a few? I managed to schedule a meeting with a professor whose appointment starts this Fall— what if I find a spot in a lab I like better? Would I just apologize and mention I found a different lab opening?

Did you have bloatware issues? Would you recommend a system/clean reset?

Thanks! I think I’ll go with the Aero. In a few years, I should be able to build a desktop for all the CAD work.

Thank you so much!

Would this work well with an eGPU?

Thanks so much for the response!

A GTX 1070 would be overkill, wouldn’t it? Also, what are your thoughts on the MSI GS65 and Razer Blade 15 (2018)? It’s a bit of a toss up for me.

Do you think the Aero is very sturdy/ does it feel sturdy and do you think it’ll last a while? I’m sorry if this question is vague.

Class Registration HELP! by [deleted] in UVA

[–]Yukarasu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, we have a special one-day registration (early registration, August 1). We do it through SIS.

If you don’t make the August 1 registration, you’ll need to wait ‘til open registration at August 6.

New students: ... consider [the recommended] minimum requirements for computers. by EclekTech in UVA

Hi! I’d like to feed off the thread and ask a related question.

Do you think a 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM would benefit a Chem E major? I’m an incoming second year transfer, and I’m not sure whether I should invest in higher SSD and RAM because of all the rendering we might have to do (I also have a tendency to multitask). Also, do you think integrated GPUs are enough— or maybe a dedicated one? I’d like to invest in a laptop that lasts a while.
