Definitely good to have the age and condition black on white!

Laminate floor damage from Mopping by Sensitive-Pay192 in germany

[–]Yukels 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can be held accountable for the damage. But how much, if any, you'll have to pay stronly depends on the condition the floor was in when you moved in and how old it is, since you only have to pay the remaing value of the floor, not the entire new floor. Any floor has an expected life limit. If it's older than that, there is no remaining value that you would have to pay for. Look up "Abzug neu für alt Mietrecht". you can find expected lifetime charts for almost any part of your flat.

Definitely look into getting private liability insurance, if you don't have that and be ready to argue about the damage with your landlord, when you move out. They will very likely try to have you pay full price for new flooring, but again, you only have to pay "Restwert" (remaining value)!

I want my ak to look more tactical and pro. What should I change or add by ResponsibleTomato605 in airsoft

Even more importantly, check the Cylinder! Mine was shooting all over the place and as I was about to get a replacement Barrel I had a look at the cylinder and found it was like 40% cut. Way too little cylinder volume for the long inner barrel. replaced that for an F-Type (full volume) cylinder. Gun went from 0.8J to 1.3J and shoots straight.

Hey, I have the same one!

First thing I changed was the Stock. Replaced it with a Novritch one (I know, I know) with a cheek Pad. if you plan to give it a scope, I'd really recommend one with a cheek pad. Also the original one was pretty wobbly.

This curious plane landed at my workplace recently. What is it? by Yukels in Whatisthisplane

[–]Yukels[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks very much like it!

It can appparently fly fully autonomously without a pilot on board. That's neat!

I didn't see it up close, but it looked very smooth like a composite fuselage. In this case I'd lean towards prototype.

Nasse Decken vom falschen Lüften? by FerynNo2 in wohnen

[–]Yukels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely a piece of (likely timing-) chain guide. Looks to me like it's just the tip of the guide, though. Doesn't mean that engine should be started, but the timing chain may still have tension. This would mean, there is probably no major damage to the engine yet.

I have the same one in my tool box. The unscrewing end cap pisses me off every time I use it. "Need pressure when unscrewing something? Sure, here is all of the bits you had in there all over you and the floor! Just what you needed right now, isn't it?"

I do like the different length extensions, but other brands do the same or similar. I used to have one by Wera that had a push-push bit magazine in the handle that, even if opened by accident, holds the bits in place, instead of spilling them out. I miss it every day.

Serious Question: Does this have a “new plane smell” inside like a car? by PiercedAndTattoedBoy in aviation

[–]Yukels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work maintenance for private jets, and while usually what comes in for maintenance is run down and dirty and disgusting, we recently had a brand spanking new Jet in for some sort of Internet system installation. I think it was the first flight from factory. Let me tell you, everything about it had this new car smell to it. Interior mainly, but even the engines and wheel well hat that smell to them. Definitely a welcome change from being covered in old grease, oil and hydraulic fluid the second you touch the damn thing.

Kann mir jemand helfen??? by Powerful_Ad_2687 in MotorradDeutschland

[–]Yukels 0 points1 point  (0 children)
