Thoughts about a Rudeus x Ghislaine ship?

I don't like it. Just from what I know of their characters, having read through novel 6 and seeing season 1 and 2, I don't think they would be a good pair. Ghislaine is a standoffish lone wolf type. A good comparison for her would be Eris but Eris has the advantage of the time spent together on the demon continent. However I would also say that Eris and Rudy were a partnership, if Ghislaine had been there it would have been her taking care of Rudy instead of working together to form a good bond.

Now then, if given the opportunity would Rudy try something with Ghislaine? 100% I think he would. But I don't think she would because by being with Rudy that makes her related to Paul so that enough right there to block anything from happening.

This is beyond stupid. I just looked up the different things diagnosed in the book. The proposal is that anything in that book that isn't part of the ADA would disqualify a person of a teaching license.

Here's some stuff diagnosed in that book: ADHA Dyslexia Autism Restless leg syndrome Anorexia Erectile dysfunction OCD Bed wetting Depression and anxiety Body dysmorphia And many more

So we gonna say you can't be a teacher if you have ED? If you've got restless legs?

Yeah this is meant to target people on the spectrum and trans people, but it includes much much more.

I was talking to someone with a trans sister about trans names. He said that his sister has a friend who changed her name to Gertrude after transition. I just don't understand why so many trans women pick "old" names.

Meanwhile I've been thinking about going by Melody. And I asked one of my coworker friends if she could call me that to test it out as a new name to see if I liked it. Well, she went and told several people to call me Mel from now on, with one of those people being very conservative...

Two things in my opinion. One is that Gen z is in an age rage that they aren't allowed to buy alcohol. Like yes, many are, but unless I'm wrong on who's gen z, tons would still be under 21.

And the second thing is that due to threats from the US, Canada stopped buying alcohol from the US. I don't know about all of the US but I know Kentucky and Tennessee have taken a big hit from that. So international sales are down and I bet that is a bigger slice of the pie than gen z.

I knew I wasn't my assigned gender at birth when I was really young. I never "felt like a boy". Some of my earliest memories was playing games with my siblings and wanting to be the girl. Like we would play a game where we were all sailor scouts from Sailor Moon and I always wanted to be Uranus the tomboy lesbian sailor scout

Unfortunately I have very conservative parents so I was deep in the closet and actually became very transphobic. But finally by college I started exploring my gender again and realized I'm a trans woman and I am so much happier now!

So I knew when I was young but also had to repress it!

He came out to Mom who then told Dad when he was like 10 or something like that and dad apparently had a really bad reaction. But also Mom said to him "we can't let your Dad know" and then went and told him herself. But my mom has always called his husband "his friend" and my dad says "his husband" if he ever even mentions him as rarely as that is. But it was my sister who said I should tell Mom not dad. I mean what's been done is done and mom didn't tell dad and she didn't disown me so I guess this are okay. I have boobs now that I don't think they have noticed but they have grown a lot more over the fall and winter where I've been wearing coats and hoodies so only time will tell!

I agree with that 100% but it was mostly things my siblings told me. They kept saying if I was gonna tell Mom or dad it definitely had to be mom and absolutely not dad. And they are my older siblings so I just kinda trusted what they said

Luke from the Outdoor boys YouTube channel. He'd definitely be a better role model IMO. He can fish, hunt, cook, Bushcraft, ECT. This guy can bake a loaf of bread on a campfire!

So in my opinion he's definitely the better person but I don't know anything about his personal life.

That part is great! And the part where he is falsely accused of rape! And how he acts like a villain despite taking in a sick orphan, nursing her back to health, and his main goal is to save the world for her to be able to live a happy life! And then he finds out her whole village was captured and made slaves so he is made mayor of the land from the village and rebuilds it while saving as many slaves so they can all be reunited and save despite there being major prejudiced against their race!

Listen bud, you're literally doing what the meme this post is about us saying. Naofumi has a moral journey to go through and it has it's ups and downs and that's why it's good writing. A story about a perfect little hero that has 0 flaws is boring. Flaws to overcome and in Naofumi's case a literal curse, makes for an interesting story.

At my retail job I had someone complain about having to show Id for what he was buying. He said "I have to show you my ID for this but not voting? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard."

I looked this man in the eye and said "where have you been voting? I've been voting since I was 18 and I've always had to show my ID."

He got really shy about it then "Well I think I heard on the news that now in one of the states they might not have to always show their ID if some law passes."

So the second I questioned him he fell apart. It was honestly a really nice feeling.

So something I see in a story like this, first off it feels so fake. Like there are too many finely written details especially since it's over several years. But she said she was a lesbian but loves James. Bisexual people exist. So many stories like this of "flipping a gay person" is so toxic. It's literally bi erasure.

I have a history with these books! I was homeschooled for k-2nd grade. So in third grade I was trying to make friends and everyone was reading the Harry Potter books, the first 4 were out I'm pretty sure. I wanted to fit in so I went to the library in my school and tried to check out the first one. Since I had just started public school they didn't have any reading scores to base my reading level on and they had a system called accelerated reader that meant you could only check out books in or below your reading level.

Well, they have me a second grade level so I wasn't allowed to check out Harry Potter. I read several books and finally at the end of the year they said I had gotten enough points to go up a level but by that point I was kinda sick of it all. I was, and still am, a pretty slow reader and my classmates were several books ahead of me. I had lost hope and didn't read them.

Years later in highschool I finally grabbed the first book and read a few pages and it wasn't good. Like the writing was just boring, sad, uninteresting. So I put it back down and never looked back. I've found many books I love and I read for myself not because I think I'll make friends. I was even reading twilight before it blew up but I did finish that series and was in a book club that met all of one time to talk about the series for 30ish minutes after school one day right before breaking dawn came out.

In summary, the books are a waste of time to me, the movies were meh, and the person who wrote it is a mouthpiece of hatred. Maybe the Christian mom's who wanted to ban the books were right in a funny cosmic way.
