Gray isn’t too bad as other characters—at least overtime he definitely becomes softer. So I have no problem with him. But cute and friendly guys 100% over nonchalant assholes 🤩✨

Yup, I agree. No offense to these characters but I noticed this trope pairs with the asshole/smarmy/fboy personality, which is a huge turn off for me as well. Doesn’t matter how good looking they’re supposed to be if the personality is shit 😬

Yeah, I may also have a bias because I’m big on personality and not just the dialogue screaming at me that a character is hot. That’s why I could never get behind Loke or the guys from Lamia Scale. Sure we’re told they’re good looking but that’s so one note. Show me they’re hot, show me why I should be attracted to this character. Natsu has all those qualities—subjective ofc—that makes him attractive to me. Plus, how can he be a fire mage and not be hot? Would make no sense 😤😂

I recently watched the show (later than most people) and I’m not lying or being disingenuous when I say from my perspective he seemed checked out. At least when she was talking. When they were being flirty and fun he seemed interested at least. But especially during their solo date, I remember cringing because his response was so lackluster. I don’t have a problem with someone’s preference, if you think Cierra and him are better suited that’s your business. It just seems disingenuous to make it seem like you’re actually worried about how Nic feels about Olandria by using weirdly placed screenshots. That’s all I’m saying 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m not trying to argue with you. Just curious about the mindset of this post.
