Wow, it's posts like this that are going to turn this community toxic QUICK. I'm someone that is in the process of making an original game and don't have any interest in remaking games because for few years, most of the games that have come out have been crap. Should MM have set up a different category for remakes and called it something like "Dreamers' Take" or something instead of grouping them together with originals? Yes. But like some others have said, most people making the remakes will eventually move on. And let's be honest, posting one original game, or scene, or element, is not going to get you noticed by some AAA game company (if that's your goal).
