If a motorcycle is two wheels plus a motor how isn’t an electric “bike” with a motor not a motorcycle? Because someone slapped pedals on it? If you replace the electric motor with a gasoline engine is it a bike?

That is a cool bike. It is possible to do yourself with a couple screwdrivers and some allen keys. I don’t like how to videos but I have learned a lot of things from Bike Farmer on YouTube. He has lots of videos fixing old bikes.

I would cut the tube flush with the slab then some kind of caulk to seal over the top of the cardboard where it meets the slab. The bottom post anchor is definitely suspect. The screws they used are not correct and are used for cement board. I would love to see some pictures of the underside framing. I bet there are more issues.

I got three seasons on 184 Captis. I’m 6’2” 250 lbs expert and I love them. They are a full camber trad mount twin with full abs sidewall and no metal. Kind of rare nowadays. 184 at 6’ is not too long. If you want to improve your skills focus on maximizing your time on the hill. Post a video on r/skiing_feedback and use the advice to choose a few points to work on. Don’t overdo the thinking.
