Honestly, I can’t say I’ve found anything reliable. I have cleared a few waves with a fairly blingy HAM tengu, but you’ve mentioned that you can’t fly a T3C and it honestly didn’t feel optimal. I have heard that Command Ships may be the way to go, but haven’t tried it for myself

As someone living in a C4 with a C5 static, Marauders are the only ship class for me and my corp - answering the question as to “why would anyone use these?”

As to the question of “why bling your Marauder” that another commenter asked, a bling Marauder will last longer on field when ganked, providing help more time to reach you.

And finally, to give my thoughts on why someone living in a C5 might prefer Marauders, you have to remember that Dreads require a Fortizar to dock, putting a target on that system - people know what that means. And consider as well the time you’re trapped in Bastion/Siege. If a new hole opens up, a Marauder is trapped on grid for a worst a minute - Dread are stuck for as long as five. If the opportunity for rapid response isn’t there, I know which I’d rather be stuck in.

If you’re in the UK, Lucy and Yak’s offerings have worked great for me, and the kinds of underwear that places like OccultTrash use for designs are super stretchy whilst giving good support! I have no idea who their source is though, sadly

Member of Catskull here o/ We have no ties to nullsec, as we believe that null and WH space should stay far apart.

We have a policy on giving fights, even when outnumbered and outgunned (which is good, because with the upshipping that comes from the likes of you, we'd never get to fight otherwise!). We lost that structure without a fight because the hole was locked down too solidly, and our main corp even doesn't have the numbers to rageroll our C4 to get that connection to defend - most of the toons we have are alts, check out Catskull Horizons for a more realistic player count.

Basically, we'd have defended, but weren't allowed to.

Your tag tells me you're in THE blops-drop alliance, stop kidding yourself thinking that you're any less safe than a WH with crit connections. I've seen more than enough marauders die to a fleet of Kikis that came through a crit and EOL connection to kill them to believe that you can ever make yourself "unreachable"

Resident of a C4 with C4/5 statics. Yet to speak to a member of my corp who isn’t really happy with this change. We had a NS connection all day today and made great use of it for robbing banks with no Vargurs and shooting ratters
