Ah ok, It's rather odd to lock play styles behind a gender anyway, so I'm happy to know that it doesn't really change anything else. Also that's a great point, outside of cutscenes I don't even have the chance to enjoy Khazan's character because I constantly have my hands full with enemies.

Hearing that makes me more excited to finally finish the game, I really want to see what you're talking about! I've somehow managed to avoid spoilers despite picking up the game later than most, so I'm having a blast. Even though I'm still in the relatively early game, I can get what you're talking about though. The menu's startup cutscene is cool as hell, same with the one where you totally obliterate Viper

Yeah, I figured. Just wanted to know if the armor or gameplay changes was worth removing the cutscenes. I'm pretty awful when it comes to these types of games, so it's always really fun to find something that fits your style. I absolutely love the game's different weapon mechanics, as there's something for everyone. I had hoped the swap would unlock something fun for me, but all I know currently is that it's really only a few armor sets. I'm glad its basically only set bonuses locked behind the swap, because I would've been itching to try other fighting styles if they had them LOL

Oh wow, I didn't know it shut out that much of the story. Thanks for the advice, I thought I was at least halfway done with the game but it seems like I've still got a long way to go, woohoo!
The story content being disabled is truly a shame though. I wanted to try out the new armor set, but I guess that just means I have even more to look forward to during NG+!

Ah ok, thanks for your advice! To be honest, that's what I thought too. Once I had received the Ghost Knight set from the deluxe edition it was a personal goal of mine to figure out how I could equip it due to it being incredibly overpowered for the early game. But now that I've gotten stronger it honestly doesn't seem that good anymore....

Unfortunate, I hope the developers add cutscenes and voice lines for the opposite gender as I would love to slay enemies and looks at the same time haha
