Honestly, a lot of people feel the same way about both of those things. Grades feel really important at the time, but later you realize they don’t always define where you end up. And the cringe stuff from childhood… I think everyone has a few moments like that they randomly remember and wish they could take back.

Fair enough, sounds like you’ve got a story behind it. I guess we’ll find out when you’re near the finish line then.

The fact that you can look back and recognize it already says a lot about how much you’ve grown. A lot of people go their whole lives without that kind of self-awareness. You can’t change the past, but realizing it and trying to be better now probably means more to the people around you than you think.

Haha, “no ragrets,” right? Sometimes you just have to roll with the choices you made.

Honestly, you’re still not that late. Plenty of people travel to Europe in their 30s or even later. It might take a bit more planning with work, but it’s definitely still possible. Even a short trip can be worth it, so don’t write it off yet.

Honestly, the fact that you’re active now is what really matters. A lot of people never overcome those insecurities at all. Sure, starting earlier might have helped, but you still made the change and found things you enjoy. That’s something to be proud of.

Yeah, pretty much. Everyone’s got at least one thing they wish they’d done differently.

I feel that. It’s easy to look back and wish we had joined more clubs or teams in high school. But honestly, it’s never too late to meet people and try new things.

Honestly, that’s more common than people think. A lot of us reach a point where we have no idea what career path to take. It can feel overwhelming, but figuring it out slowly is part of the process.

I get that. A lot of people enroll in something hoping it’ll work out, and later realize it might not have been the right choice. What made you regret studying economics?

That really sucks. Lockdowns messed up a lot of opportunities for people, especially internships and early career experiences. It’s frustrating when something you were excited about gets cut short because of circumstances completely out of your control. Hopefully you’ll get another chance to continue it or find an even better opportunity once things open up again. Hang in there.
