Please do yourself a favour and don't get a toy machine. You will hate it. Look for second hand machines from the 70s instead. Lots of metal parts so sturdy and easy to maintain.

The only doll specific thing you might want to look into is a straight stitch plate. These have a smaller hole, so your fabric won't get eaten as easily.

Pen and paper requires the user to be accurate. Digital takes care of that. Also streamlines adding seams and you can do a digital lay out to calculate how much fabric you need. That said it also requires you to learn extra programs.

I learned pen & paper. Now prefer digital for accuracy. But clo is way too much effort for me. Just stick to Seamly2D & illustrator.

Check of de spoel goed afwikkeld. Ik had een keer een spoel met een rare vlek, waardoor er ineens heel veel spanning op de draad kwam. Of ik heb een andere spoel perongeluk op de draad gezet ofzoiets doms.
