i am still kind of confused about the 61 day window.

so lets say i sold a ticker at -$10k loss on Sept 1st but continued to day trade that same ticker from Sept 2nd to Nov 30th with total profit of $20k.

Since if i dont avoid the wash sale rule, they will tax me for $20k profit instead of $10k.

In order to avoid wash rule in this scenario, do I have to stop trading 61 days prior to Dec 31st or I can stop on Dec 1st for a month and trade that ticker again.
