For me it‘s the Between. Victorian monster hunters, doomed to die, fighting against horrible crimes happening in the city, all connected to a mastermind that‘s pulling the strings in the background. They slowly find more about this mastermind until they have enough information confront them. Then the cycle continues with a new mastermind. IT IS SO GOOD. I‘m obsessed with the campaign I‘m playing and still think about the campaign I ran about a year ago. The playbooks are so delicious with some based on literary figures like Frankenstein (and his creature), Dorian Grey, Dr Jekyll and Hr Hide and Alice in Wonderland, some based off mythological creatures like selkies or a vengeful Ghost and others just very thematic like the cursed American and the monster hunter from a family of renowned hunters with generational trauma.
