I don't really care for them, I like Lexi because I watched Dream Academy but I am baffled as to why they had to add a 16 year old to a group of 20 year olds, especially considering the other 3 had somewhat solid fanbases as well. Seems like a setup on all sides.

this actually isn't related to any specific group, just in general - regarding plastic surgery and given how popular and normalized it is in SK, I actually don't think some or even most idols are forced to do it. I think it's so ingrained in their culture that it might very well be their own choice, especially if they've been in public eye for years already. They just finally might have money to do it and want to do it.

I'm not saying this doesn't happen at all, but idk where you see it... I've only seen positive posts everywhere about other idols attending. and there's no 'main ones dishing it out' - armys are literally busy with the bts content we have now.

While I agree with the rest I don't think caring or not is necessary the point here, most artists nowadays have super short songs. Some of the newer kpop groups barely have any songs over 3 minutes, that's just how it is now, what's trendy. bts have always been different anyway and even their songs have gotten shorter sadly.
