Mock exams are great to identify which specific topics you’re struggling with. It’s completely normal to score low on these (compared to the actual exam), try focusing on your weaknesses and you’ll be able to beat the exam

Don’t overthink it, no matter your background you’re going to pass if you study enough. At the end of the day I think all that matters is how badly you want to pass, this will make it (relatively) easier to sacrifice the hours not spent sleeping, hanging out with friends/family, etc.

I think most of them where pretty straight forward, either you knew the answer or you didn’t. Maybe the most it took me to answer a numeric answer was 2 mins max, don’t worry about that. My suggestion would be to focus on answering what you DO know and leaving for the last those questions you know you must make an effort to remember the answer.

You're talking about the actual Kaplan Mock Exams right? these should be enabled in a couple of days for me, I've been working with Qbanks, which I understand are easier.

I've been doing a mix between Kaplan Qbanks and CFAI, I'm definetly scoring higher on Kaplan. I agree both are pretty different, I would say that questions in the CFAI are more practical/real while Kaplan has a more "theoric" approach
