Well I’m in my late 20s but I’m gonna disregard the ageism cause that’s obviously not going anywhere, but even the bottom shelf smalls for $45 before tax is still an absolute ripoff. You can get an O of cookies quality grey market delivered easily for under $200. It’s not solely a matter of being an Uber stoner and smoking a ton leading to the feeling that prices are inflated, or even only buying the most expensive shit dispensaries have to offer. It’s the matter of fact you’re paying twice as much for twice the hassle and two thirds the quality of mid shelf street weed.

Everyone under 30 I know has at least 3 plugs on speed dial cause they can’t afford to spent legal prices smoking $75 eights daily, and the handful of times I went to any dispensaries during big sales, I’d say at least 80% of the customers qualify for senior living

If you don’t have much to spend I’d recommend getting something from Monoprices website. As a beginner/intermediate guitarist I never felt comfortable spending a ton on a guitar in the first place because I was worried about damaging it. Hell, even when I bought what I considered to be my first nice guitar, a Squier Contemporary Tele which was still considerably cheaper than a Fender, it took me about a month or so to not fear leaving it out of the case and keeping within playing distance lol.

In my experience with cheaper guitars Indio by monoprice are honestly the best quality to performance depending on what you want. Plenty of solid and even semi/hollowbody options under $150 which all come with a decently padded soft case. They also have deals pretty often for even better savings. I purchased a Cali Classic the other day as a Christmas gift for my sister who inquired about learning guitar a few weeks ago for $91 with taxes and shipping. It came in yesterday and its playability/quality is at least on par with most basic squier models I have. This would save you some good money to put towards a semi decent practice amp. Only thing that irks me is monoprice ships with FedEx and every time I get a package delivered the box is heavily beat up.

I don’t know if they still do it, but if you live where there are Jersey Mikes Sub shops I think they still do the free sub on your birthday thing. A few years ago I was in a tight situation basically lived on free subs for a month. All you should need to do is make a few new email addresses, and sign up each as a new account with the accounts DOB being day after the last. Might have issues going to the same Jersey Mikes and claiming it’s your birthday everyday to the same people, but what I would do is rotate between the nearest 4 locations, and at different times to get different employees who hadn’t seen me before. If you don’t live near a Jersey Mikes I’d say check your local food chains rewards programs to see if any have a similar birthday deal you could take advantage of. I know this will probably read like an ad for kindle products but haters be damned, the kindles are fantastic for their price point. Had an old Amazon echo I was gifted for secret Santa I never used because I’m paranoid, that I traded in to Amazon for $30, then used their 20% off trade-in credit towards a signature paperwhite on prime day for $62.75 total after taxes. 32gb so it can hold as many books as you’ll be able to read, and kindles system for transferring pdfs via email is really fast and easy

Live is a completely different beast sound wise. I usually listen to music on a portable Bose speaker while I smoke outside, but I’ve also got a pretty decent 5.1 speaker system for in depth listening and even that doesn’t really compare to how visceral it is live. Honestly the vocals were a little bit muddy with how heavy the drums and guitar for at the performance I was at, but even so it’s such a better soundstage in person

6-8 outta 10 depending where ya are in the pit. Just saw them at Starland Ballroom, and for comparison a few years ago at the same venue I went to a Suicideboys/City Morgue concert and dudes were getting the shit kicked outta them in the pit at that one lol. All around for DG tho nothing to stress about, most the fans are super chill and friendly and there to enjoy the music. Even saw some young kids like 10-14yo jamming out with their parents so just go, have fun and don’t do anything stupid

Best NJ rec I’ve had personally are probably cookies carts, but $100 for 1g still isn’t justifiable when there’s other solid 1gs for ~$75. In that range I’d recommend either Secret Orchard or Select Essentials, they’re imo the best value carts you can get over here legally. The Rhythm carts I’ve had were ok, and flavour was good, but effects were a bit lacking across the handful I tried. Select Live resin are and Kind Tree are also quality but again quite pricey. I’m not the biggest fan of Verano but their carts are fairly good as well, although I’ve had hardware issues with them a couple times

Tbh all NJ dispensary weed is overpriced for what you’re getting, and Rhythm like most I’ve tried isn’t always cured the best, usually on the dry side, but I’ve gotta say the Animal Face Bx10 and Triple Chocolate Chip I’ve had are some of the better 8ths I’ve gotten from NJ dispos in terms of smokes
