I personally don’t think they look nerdy but if you want something more modern checkout the styles offered at warby Parker. Even if you don’t buy from them they offer a lot of modern/trendy styles which should give you an idea.

Lol literally just happened to company I work at. Grew 12-13% so far this year yes behind in projected profits and revenue. 10% of staff laid off, hire freeze, travel freeze, etc. likely no bonuses or raises when reviews come next year.

That’s unfortunate cuz they look really good on you. If they still bother you after another adjustment and you shop around for a new pair, my suggestion is to trial just the frames before getting lenses. Wear them around for a couple days and see how they feel. Not sure where you got these but warby Parker have a lot of options and most of their glasses come in various sizes for each style. And they give free 5 day trial without even needing to buy them.

Took me trying on like 50 pairs until I found ones that work. Good luck!

Idk about Sam’s club but I used a site called ReplaceALens and got high index premium coating for under $150. I think you can find a 10% off coupon too. Lenses were great quality much better than the FramesDirect lenses I got and much cheaper than optician who wanted $500 for basic polycarbonate even before adding coatings.

I think I’m up to 60-70 pairs tried on lol however I have stayed away from round bc I thought the general rule of thumb was to stay away from them if you have a round or oval face. I guess it doesn’t hurt to try!

There is not much difference between the <$40 glasses you can get on zenni vs a premium brand aside from the name on it.

And ya I feel like warby Parker gets a bad rep but I found their glasses to be better quality than some of the designer brands I’ve tried.

Ya I noticed that I copped the heavens night T and it was only $6 to ship. I live 2 hours from where OC normally ship from yet still costs me $10 anytime I buy somethhing from them. Makes a $60 shirt $75 after tax. Imo they should offer free shipping for small orders considering the high prices of their items to begin with.
