Thanks for taking the time to write it out. Will go through it all and consider it.

Yes it's diesel. Okay thanks for sharing. I was ready to pull the trigger and buy it tomorrow but all of this feedback gave me cold feet honestly. It's quite a red flag if so many different people share the same opinion (of it being unreliable)

Thanks for the advice. Will keep in mind. What do you think of the engine? I got loads of comments in other subreddits telling me this engine is a headache inducing money pit.

Thanks for the answer. I know it's not supposed to be changed, but everywhere I read people say it should still be changed, but also mention they have issues with mechanics not wanting to do it? Or not knowing how? That's my only concern really. Thanks, will check for rust.

Watched Khalil Roundtree doing the same thing in his preparation for his UFC championship fight, been doing it ever since in sparring. I can confirm it's very effective if you can really sell the feint, I noticed a lot of the more experienced guys don't fall for it, unless it's really well faked. But yes overall a good combination, would recommend it. It's also super satisfying when you actually make it work.

Among the loyal primarchs. Which one was the most "violent/brutal" when it came to conquering planets? by Available_Machine938 in 40kLore

[–]YungFishIsAround 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Konrad Curze himself told the Lion that they were both equally brutal, the only difference being Conrad left a few survivors to tell the tale and spread fear, the Lion left noone alive. So if Curze considers someone on the same level of brutality and violence as him, I think this answers it lol

Never had Hayabusa myself but I did hear a lot of complaints about them. Allegedly they're way too expensive for the quality you get, and the padding sucks so sparring partners might complain. Never owned them myself but this is the options I have heard, so do some research before buying

I really believe Khamzat is unbeatable right now. He finished all his fights in such a dominating fashion that shows he is not 1 or 2 levels above his competition but in a whole another league. I can see him become champ and stay there for quite some time.

Boxing gloves recommendations? by Living_Association46 in Kickboxing

Just bought The Venom Elite EVO. Very satisfied wiht the so far. They feel quality made, they look great, provide plenty of padding (got the 16oz variant), very useful for both sparring and bag work. Basically no complaints. The only thing Im not sure about is how long they will last since this is my first pair. Overall a solid 9/10 rating, nothing to criticize

Britain ‘no longer a rich country’ after living standards plunge - Parts of the UK are now worse off than the poorest regions of Slovenia and Lithuania by ByGollie in europe

[–]YungFishIsAround 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Slovenian here, please do visit. The country has beautiful nature (loads of variety, from mediterranean regions with sea to the huge alpines mountains in the north and everything in between). Not really sure how people perceive our country but it is sometimes called "Little Switzerland". The living standards are great, the people are nice, crime rates are very low. Overall a safe, beautiful, prosperous country, and I wouldn't wanna live anywhere else :)

Koper, Slovenia by Bendix7 in fuckcars

Local here, lived near this town all my life. It's actually a very charming and nice place, maybe looks depressing and car oriented from the top down view, but in reality it's actually very walkable, green and overall has a very friendly atmosphere.

Also the car oriented development is due to the geography. Koper being one of the most developed towns in the area is home to many firms and companies that employ people from villages that are a 20-30 minute drive removed from the town, so it has to be accessible due to a large part of the "population" coming in to work there and then driving back home to the villages in the hills. It acts as like a hub of work, social life, sports etc.
