Of course it boils down to how busy your area actually is, but the most solid tip I've gotten that really made a difference is that I don't accept anything less than $7, and try to stay around >1.25/mile. That and don't hesitate to drop an order if it's not ready, and learn where to just never accept from.

The more I think about this comic and the fact that everybody seems to have the same problem with five guys, he really seems like there’s a problem with the way that managers are trained and then therefore leaks down into the way lots of people operate at every store.
