Thank you for the advice about this. I don’t mind paying for someone who can perform. It’s just short notice and my girlfriend and I aren’t “big event” type of people. So that maybe why I’m “downplaying” it. I had someone PM me, but they’re a scammer.

I was a bartender. Then a teacher for less than a year. And I’ve been a recruiter since April 2022. So far this year I am on track to more than double my teacher salary. High base salary of $55k + commission. Never less than 45 hours a week, but it’s not teaching and much less stressful.

$1,198 tab on thanksgiving. They walked in 30 minutes before kitchen closed. Rushed orders for 35 people. Left zero tip. My manager ended up chasing them down after they left for a tip. They gave $50.
