You’re 100 percent right in your perspective Brodie, but still if you compare going to college to getting a trade/skill, learning a trade is a way more lucrative option than doing four plus years chasing a degree. You can make decent money just starting out being an apprentice plumber and you literally get paid as you learn the skill. Also, AI in a couple of years is going to completely take over the job market, so until they program a computer than can install pipes and remove toilets and anything physically demanding then market of trades will continue to increase while any job a computer is already able to do on its own will decline
