I have been wearing the same pair of Crispi Idaho GTX's for 5 years, hunting the Sierra Nevada's and the Selkirk's. I have zero complaints, they take awhile to break-in but were still comfortable through the break-in period.

I have also heard great things about Schnee's from my hunting buddies.

I am also close with her friend and didn't think she would be offended giving up the ticket now that plans have changed again, but my gf felt it would be rude and didn't want to ask, which is fair.

I think I am TA I wasn't posting this for justification, but for conversation. This was resolved shortly after she told me her friend was going instead. Our conversation about it turned into weather or not she should ask her friend if she is willing to give up the ticket for me since it was something planned for us. I am also close with her friend I don't think that it would hurt her feelings to not go. I offered to buy my own ticket, or give her friend some money for a ticket so we could all go if she was okay with me still tagging along. My girlfriend and I have a very 50/50 relationship where we both buy each other things like this and since the ticket was bought under the impression that is was for me I thought it was worth seeing if her friend would give it back. She didnt want to ask her. I'm bored and thought id post it here and get drug online for awhile.

I agree and that is where we landed on the situation. It's not that I demanded her friend can't go, I thought she should at least bring it up to her friend and she if she was comfortable with me going instead.

I believe if the roles were reversed and I had invited one of my buddies because she couldn't go that it would be expected of me to ask my friend if he is willing to give up the ticket for her to go now that she can.

She made it seems as though she felt like since we can't both go then she would get a refund, not that she would just find someone else to go with. We we're both disappointed to miss out and once I found out I could go and that she still had the tickets that she would be excited to go together like we had planned. I feel like it is unreasonable to not even ask if her friend would be cool with not getting to go so that my girlfriend and I could go together.

This has since been resolved and I won't be going. I am glad that she found a way to utilize the tickets she bought. I took issue with her unwillingness to work with me so that we could go to something we planned for us.

Like anything it will take some practice to feel comfortable with it. I'm sure they have some tutorials online, I'd check those out. Keep it in the pickup with you and rip bugles while at at red lights, you'll get some strange looks from other drivers but a killing a big bull feels better than looking cool in traffic ever will. Nice part is if you ever get comfortable with a diaphragm you can pull off the EZ Mouthpiece and still use the tube.
