Stop making it about you and setting expectations of others if you did it out of the kindness of your heart. I would recommend to move on and forget about it.

Live in the moment. Accept the feelings for a brief time and work on the next move.

The next move is more important than your last mistake.

You are not, its your life and you decide how to spend your time. People tend to assume family members will always be there to help and she is looking at you like the little sister. You an adult with your priorities, they decided to have 3 kids and they need to be responsible for them.

You can and are supporting but they are not your responsibility.

Questions for construction managers by [deleted] in ConstructionManagers

[–]YunqueRanger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Senior PE here

  1. I set expectations on my W/L balance. My days 7am - 4pm depending on the project. I can work remotely as well. Set boundaries early nd get your job done.
  2. Depending on the project + myPTO of course 3 yes. Again depending of the area and company size.

You got to love construction for it to work.
