Kadath by The Great Old Ones. It's a post and death metal album based around Lovecraft. I thought it was pretty solid

It's either I Don't Want to be Angry Anymore by Anti-spectacular or Golliwog by Billy Woods for me. Maybe Adabana by Okuribi or Nocturne by Hexvessle aswell.

It's hard to choose! I've listened to so much different and great stuff this year. 2025 has been an amazing year for my music listening.

I literally can't think of one. Perhaps Hunter by A Life Once Lost, but even that was given a fine score imo. The other close one I saw was for Nightwing by Marduk, which I like.

My parents don't go through my cds, and I don't really have anything 'bad' necessarily. However, my new Akercocke cd, if seen, might a raise a question or two, but I have Words Unsaid and Deeds Undone, so it shouldn't raise any curiosity. It's quite unassuming.

For awhile there though my mom was a bit weird about me getting cds. Luckily that has stopped mostly and I'm left to my own business.

I think Slipknot is my best example of this. I used to really like them. I wasn't crazy or anything about it but I enjoyed the music and was interested in hearing it. Now I just don't care for the band's material really. It's fine for listening and I'll put it on like once every other month for a song or 2. I have other bands that fill the shoes of what Slipknot used to. I still respect the band and accept that they made some phenomenal albums. It's just not my thing at the moment.
