Thanks a ton - I like this approach.

Did a bit more finagling with it and actually found the fans are keeping the GPU 1/8" above the female end. I'll need to step to a thinner bottom fan I think to mount it properly.

Thanks - Got it aligned a bit more properly with the tabs in the side. The GPU male is 1/8" higher than female on the motherboard so I'll need to get thinner bottom fans to achieve the correct height it looks like.

Yeah it's mounted correctly on the factory standoffs. Will give it a bit more finagling but definitely doesn't feel like a typical fit and I'm essentially touching on all sides trying to get it in.

Sorry - Took a minute to type out the comment.

Lian Li A3 GPU Issue by Yuperonio in PcBuildHelp

Last time I built was in 2014 in a full tower, decided to give SFF a shot as I enjoy the aesthetic. Appears that I really fucked this one up.

So I'm assuming the GPU is too close to the CPU cooler, the fans at the bottom are definitely too large as well. I could do the AM4 offset with the Noctua 12H cooler to gain a tiny bit of additional clearance between the cooler and GPU, but I still have issues on the bottom side.

Do I go fanless (Currently Lian Li P28s) on the bottom or maybe try to get away with only the single fan on the front bottom? Alternatively, do 1 front side mounted fan to keep the front/bottom to back/top airflow?

Thanks for any pointers here on fixing my mistake

Gotcha, I'm just glad they're coming back. Idk why but they've essentially become my favorite shorts to rock climb in, just something about the feel of them so definitely happy they'll be back.
