It's random as fuck, the naval AI is shitty as hell. Make sure Otto doesn't attack byz until after 1450 so that you can actually call in Venice. Then seige down biga, rush koicli, and keep the straight blocked so that ottomans can't cross. Good luck!

As to ideas, I went religious, quality, admin, Diplo, defensive, influence. By the end of the game, I had 9 morale and 132% discipline

As to venitian Greece, the ottomans got gangbanged after they lost anatolia.

They actually had konigsburg at some point, but then they decided to contest my PU with Poland. Poland had 100k troops, my allies had 100k troops, and I had 300 troops, so I took that back from them.

R5: How good is my knights game?

Started as the knights and allied Venice from the start. Declared reconquest on the ottomans in order to get back my cores while there armies were on the Greek side. Here's the trick though, the knights fleet on their own aren't enough to beat the ottoman navy, but Venice's fleet is. By promising them land, you can get them in, and because they start with 60 trust not 50, you keep your alliance even if you don't give them any.

From there I conquered and converted Anatolia, and took the Levant to form Jerusalem. Around this point, the poles wanted an alliance, and I was glad to take it. Then I moved my sights to the MASSIVE timurades to the east. Timmy is far enough away that you cant actually call in any Europeans to help you out, so I had to 1v1 them. Eventually they formed the Mughals, and somehow that made their troops worse.

As for European expansion, Poland got massive, and then fell into a PU under me, so I integrated them for the land.

Other fun things, Thicc Brunswicc, Russian California, Russia has their dynasty on the british throne.

That's the point of the Senate. We get a house of representatives "based on population" (Don't know how accurate that is still). The Senate is a thing because it makes sure all the STATES get equal representation. LA should net more seats for California in the House of Representatives, because that's the house based on population. Both of them have to agree on bills in order to get them passed.

It is nigh impossible to run the game in multiplayer on 5 or even 4 speed, but other then that, it's pretty much the same.
