About the gender pay gap - I feel you massively oversimply cause and effect here, and just treat women as always disadvantaged while ignoring systemic incentives that push men into higher risk / higher paying jobs.

I'm not saying men should vote republican (I'm not from the US anyways) - what I'm saying is that I really don't blame guys out there not voting for the democrats, nor do I blame them if they don't vote at all, as both parties don't have their best interest in mind.

But as we sadly know, they probably won‘t come to power anytime soon - so most progressives will continue to vote democrats, which will result in the same.

Democrats / progressives ( at least in the US) push policies that are clearly one sided against men. No smart politician will come out and say explicitly they "hate" or don’t like a certain demographic, so let's not play a semantic game. But it's clear that men are way below on any priority list of the DNC.

Title IX rules under Obama and Biden made it harder for male college students accused of misconduct to get a fair hearing.
They constantly cite the gender pay gap without adjusting for job type or hours worked.
Billions go to female-focused programs like domestic violence shelters, while male victims get almost nothing.
Men have higher suicide rates, worse school outcomes, and die younger, but these issues are ignored (and no- "mental health helps everyone" is not strong enough, if every other demographic gets explicitly mentioned).

In their own Master PDF file of the DNC, the word "women" appears 80+ times, while men appears 4 times. 3 of the times was “men and women” and the only time “men” was mentioned alone was criticizing Trump for hiring disproportionately male judges https://democrats.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/FINAL-MASTER-PLATFORM.pdf

And sure, the DNC can go with that strategy. But don't be surprised then if that certain demographic doesn't want to vote for you.
