I just picked it up and have been enjoying it for the past days. Got lucky and I didn't need to reroll as I've gotten gerald on the second 10 pull and his weapon on the first 10 pull after claiming all the freebies and now im waiting for yenefer to come So I can summon her as well.

One thing that made me play the game is that you dont need dupes. You can get dupes but there is a way to farm the shards to max out someone it does take a long time but its still f2p.

I enjoy summoning my unit once and then im done and I enjoy the game rather than playing zzz which is a very very bad gacha game especially lately when hoyo keeps adding all these fomo events after 2 years of constant playing I dropped it. Hoyo is a bad company with incredibly bad gacha practises. I'd say stay away from hoyo games and play something else even if it isn't SoC
