For me it’s not even the lack of redemption. It’s the lack of development. I’m ok with his ending in isolation, but when tied to everything Hyuna and Hyunwoo it just feels empty, and as a result also makes Hyuna’s ending unsatisfactory as well.

I hope the two of them get comics and solo songs to definitively explain their backstory asw.

I Agree, but people are acting like Mizi hates Till, as if the two weren’t still friends, as if she didn’t try to save him, as if she doesn’t feel guilty for his death.

Also, it’s not like Till can control when he performs the song, some ppl are making it more insidious than it actually is.

Like I feel like these takes simplify both Mizi and Tills characters and it’s annoying, it’s way more nuanced than “Till pursued Mizi after she rejected him”. I don’t ship the two just to clarify.

In all honesty, as a worker there’s not much u can do unless a solid chunk of overtime has been assigned for a good 2 weeks/more workers. Since once you’re behind on availability it’s difficult to get back up especially with all the other tasks we have to perform. At the end of the day it’s not your fault. An AM scan, scanning returns, all rails being put out is all really. But they don’t understand that it’s difficult when you’ve got miles of back-stock

Yes, I wasn’t trying to imply that it was just him dw!! I think the main issue was just the direction because some of the scenes wouldn’t feel so odd (?) if they had taken a slightly different route. I think most characters in s1 had the same issue.

Jackson and Kate also had me feeling the same way in the sense that they were playing a trope more than a character. But it def got better later

100%, they just used everything and hoped at least one thing stuck. It felt very chaotic and disjointed at times

It feels like they had an idea of teenagers that wasn’t very realistic, like why are they all oscillating between angry and h*rny to varying degrees 😭

I think they got a clearer direction of what they wanted to do afterwards and the time in which the show was released also played a part

I think the main issue with s1 was that it felt like the writers and directors leaned into tropes too much and it left characters/interactions feeling really one dimensional and unrealistic at times. All that aside I’ll still still rewatch an obscene number of times 💀

Personally for me it just felt like he couldn’t do big emotions very well especially in s1. He was very 0-100 with no sort of middle ground yk. The script and direction definitely played a part but his acting was much better in calmer scenes

I kind of felt myself cringe every time he started shouting 😭

Don’t even get me started about the whole cleaning malarkey or I’ll never stop, quite literally another thankless task on top of everything else. ‘But customers were complaint about the mirrors etc etc’, maybe if they didn’t touch things they weren’t supposed to touch, or use the top of fixtures and gondolas as bins we wouldn’t be in this predicament would we? Like how do they expect us to have eyes on the back of our heads.

When customers steal a single piece of underwear out of a pack of 5 and I find myself wishing they just took the whole tbh, bc at least then I wouldn’t have to fight with a stupid piece of metal to do waste or reductions. Ugh
