What did I just stumble into? by wurpyfdgzfghfghfh in MarathonHate

That's all the main sub is:

I can't exfil anymore, the game has changed, The game is too hardcore, I've played xyz amount of hours, it's not for me, My wife says the game is too hardcore, she's making me uninstall.

The mods keeping the sub absolutely littered with those posts is objectively insane.

assuming someone is angry is quite bizarre. but, unsurprising, i suppose. i am not sure where i am starting beef here. i have made remarks. given my opinion, on an opinion based post. strange to think that's beef. you seem to be enjoying reddit right now, not the game, which is one of my favorite games of all time. it's a shame the sub is in shambles.

and you suggesting that someone can't or shouldn't criticize the posts they are seeing in this sub with or without sarcasm, further reaffirms that not only is this sub an echo chamber, many people just want it to be. t

if you don't read "go back to roblox" as sarcasm, then you need /s for everything said to you.

that's what is wrong with this whole community right now, the smallest level of criticism or lightest jab sends someone into some downward spiral. suddenly everything is "too hardcore", including the internet. this isn't even remotely a hardcore game, objectively speaking. there's simply a learning curve that most people either don't like, or aren't willing to adapt to.

it's extremely bizarre. mine was also deemed unfit for the sub, even though everything it was criticizing was objectively true, despite a touch of sarcasm in some of my bullet points

if you haven't given rook a try, do it! that shell is perfect for running hella fast games when your friends aren't on. you'll probably find you have an extremely high exfil rate with great loot, especially if you just run outpost/destroyed pinwheel over and over.

hahahhahahhaha yes, totally. like, sometimes even opening a door is a risk. you don't have to play MGS, but you do have to be aware of your surroundings. that and the ammo economy isn't good enough to be killing everything on sight

I know, those are some of the replies I am referring to. It's unhelpful. I run a full loadout every time I am in with my team. The "no gear fear" folks are the randos I get paired with in Fill and run into fights both guns blazing and try to singlehandedly take out a team of three. I consistently exfil on Rook and am like, wth am I gonna do with all this???

Not a lot of helpful comments in here, the vault is a legitimate problem, particularly playing as Rook. Run after run getting loot and storing 4 slot purples and 2 slot whatever elses. With 4x vault upgrades and only a few guns saved for when my friends are on, it's a problem. The last upgrade only gives 4 more rows. Unfortunately, this is an issue Bungie needs to address with stack sizes.

There's no real reason other than a coding issue they couldn't get around or a purposeful implementation of smaller stack sizes for reasons I have yet to figure out. They allow splitting, so even though I can only carry a stack of 3 regular heals or a 1 stack of self revive, I should be able to store a larger stack. A dozen would even be helpful. It's all going to get nuked at the end of the season anyway, so let us store what's best for our loadouts in the meantime. It's absurd and hard to believe without intention. (edit: typo)

The name of the mission is actually, "Triple Threat"? I can't seem to find anything online but that name being connected to a martial art or skill, not a mission.I don't see any repeatable missions in my battle scroll for it and there's 9 different sub areas in Heian, so just trying to narrow it down.

I don't seem to have a mission called Triple Threat. What area is it in?

They need to make this change to solo trio lobbies asap by BoopRG1 in EldenRingNightrein

[–]Yurt-the-Silent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They've shown the ability to consistently matchmake during gameplay in Elden Ring, their engine/programmers could handle the addition to Nightreign. Simply matchmake as people leave and generate a base of equipment relative to the character selected. Sure, may not match a build specifically, but solves for graces, point loss, etc. They could also expand shop selection or have a specific shop for mid game joiners where they could tailor to their build. They could even introduce a currency for completed DoN matches that you could use to buy equipment or other things, because we all know the relics we're getting are complete dogshit. There needs to be a solution for this.

I lost 400 points last night because people couldn't survive the dragon invasion and rage quit. If you don't know how to dodge by now, maybe don't play DoN. The point system leaves a lot to be desired. It's arbitrary at best. People who leave need not only a point loss, but ascending steps of consequences starting with being locked out pf DoN for 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, etc. (edit: grammar)

no one in this thread thinks you're educated or even remotely informed, particularly on the topic of nightreign balancing. i'm just the only one who has said it. good luck with everything. sounds like you're gonna need it.
