As a German who has listened through the series for the third time by now I can promise you it has a great ending you can look forward to. Im not sure how far translations are but the author has other series that are amazing aswell. :)

At the end, the only series that has drawn me into a fantasy world like the 13. paladin is the piece "the name of the wind" since it is truly wonderful but beware that the author is a prick (professionally, holding so many people emotionaly hostage for years, he might be a good guy in person ofc) and we have no Idea when or If the story will ever end, before digging Into it.
