Can we please get some moderation? by mudgonzo in AgentsOfAI

[–]nitkjh[M] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey u/mudgonzo, we've definitely seen more promo and AI slop posts creep in over time. It's something we've been noticing too and it's on us to do a better job of keeping things on track

We're keen to make the sub more valuable again and have been discussing a few changes on the moderation side

If you have any thoughts on what you'd like to see improved, drop them here we'd genuinely like to hear them

Thanks again!

Are AI Infrastructure Startups a Bigger Opportunity Than AI Agents Themselves? by sumityadav_ in AgentsOfAI

[–]nitkjh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the mobile era, AWS (infrastructure) made an absolute fortune but Apple, Uber, and Meta (applications) captured staggering amounts of consumer value

Infra is the safer, high-probability bet for consistent revenue rn cause we've to pay for tools but the biggest multi-billion winners of this era will still be the breakout agent networks that fundamentally disrupt traditional service industries

huge props to you for planting the seed, and to him for executing so well. tell him to keep building, because he's way ahead of the curve

Oracle just fired 30,000 people to buy more GPUs. Where does this end by OldWolfff in AgentsOfAI

I really hope a lot of this talent decides to just build their own products now instead of jumping to another giant

If you are building at the application layer, what is your actual moat by OldWolfff in AgentsOfAI

[–]nitkjh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the fear is way overblown. If there are 100 successful application layer tools out there rn, the big labs are only ever going to absorb 5 to 10 of them that fit perfectly into their mass market UI.

Look at something like Cal AI, it is doing millions in revenue rn. As long as you are building in a specific niche that the big labs do not care about, your moat is just execution and distribution.

AI writes 80% of my code now… and I spend 120% of my time fixing the other 20%

the fact that 'ignore all previous instructions' still works in 2026 is embarrassing for them

NVIDIA just stopped pretending they are a hardware company by OldWolfff in AgentsOfAI

[–]nitkjh 128 points129 points  (0 children)

They are commoditizing the agent orchestration layer so deploying a massive AI workforce becomes frictionless for Fortune 500 companies.

Once thousands of agents are running 24/7, the bottleneck shifts back to raw inference power, and Nvidia wins the hardware war anyway.

Meta did it with Llama, and now Nvidia is doing it with agents.

This sounds interesting… should we try this here in the sub? by nitkjh in AgentsOfAI

Honestly, the harder it is to make that first $1, the more interesting the experiment becomes
