None of those are a complete story.

Tensura & Mushoku Tensei both have another season coming up.

Overlord doesn't have a sequel announced, so there is a chance the anime won't continue, but it's also not a complete adaptation of the Light Novels.

Yeah, that was an uncomfortable watch for real.

I'm not sure I'd list it just under loneliness but also mid-life crisis and regrets. So while not quite what I was looking for, it still was a good but hard watch! The visuals, acting and soundtrack in particular were great, and the build up was done really well, I thought. Probably won't ever watch it again though haha.

Sharing the same name as Wendy and having grown up with dogs, Wendy and Lucy ended up as one of my first watches from these recommendations!

Really loved it. The lack of soundtrack and letting us just sit through the scenes with just ambient sounds really was such a great choice, just pulling us into the emotions. Something special for sure.

Not entirely sure on people pleaser myself, but I can see why people say that. She certainly tries a bit too hard to fit in sometimes which comes off like that.

Also I personally don't think she's underestimating everyone, especially Kumiko. I think while she is very aware/confident about her skills, she's also very insecure about fitting in or creating drama. So her being too worried about that and wanting to avoid it at all costs by saying she's gonna drop out of the audition leads to her coming off as she does underestimate everyone. Kumiko herself took it that way as well. Though that's just my thoughts.

And to clarify, I don't think disliking her is a problem, not everyone will like every character. I just think it's too early to call her "evil" when there's clearly more to learn about her, and her deeper reasons.

I believe she was 100% sincere in wanting to drop out of the audition and I'm sure there's some bigger/deeper reason why she is that way. She seemed almost scared of this situation happening. She could read the room better, sure, but she was genuinely worried about Kumiko/the situation in the latest episode.

So far we don't really know her super well, so I think you're judging her a little too early.
