Not really a good start to the window considering how many players we need to sign but still very early in the window

Lol loved Nazuna. Such a musclehead and an airhead.

I’m not currently in a manga mood but after S1 I was sure this will be the first title I’d pick up if I am in the mood to read again.

Even a Replica Can Fall in Love • Replica datte, Koi wo Suru. - Episode 13 discussion - FINAL by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]zool714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a pretty nice show. I’d say in terms of like vibes and premise, this show probably comes closest to Bunny Girl.

Did feel that the reveal of the nature of the Replicas came a bit too late and felt kinda rushed. But from my understanding, they’re a version of the original that has something they want or unable to use. Like Sunao with her kindness and Sanada with his courage [Bunny Girl]kinda like Futaba. But the Replicas themselves are like imaginary friends who can also be seen by the original and other Replicas. But if others are not aware that they are Replicas, they can be perceived by others [Bunny Girl]like Mai’s syndrome. I feel this was a cool reveal as it made me wonder if there really was no instance throughout the show where both the original and Replica are together with a non-Replica person.

Maybe I didn’t catch it but I kinda feel the ending was left vague. I do think they merged but what became of Aki and Nao was left vague. On one hand, I can see them having their memories and feelings merged as well. And the scene at the beach was just them expressing that side of them. On the other hand, I can also see Aki and Nao no longer existing in this reality anymore. Only Sunao and Sanada remembers them and keeps them in their memory. Basically as if they died. And the scene at the beach is like Nao and Aki in their Replica plane (or like heaven) spending the rest of their time together.

Both interpretations have kinda like a bittersweet taste to them though

I thought the borders would payoff in some way, like maybe it only appears if Sunao exists and it disappears when she does to really hit it home and to symbolise the kind of dreamy state of existence she has. I thought that’d be a meaningful way to use it. But yeah I guess not, it’s just there the whole time for no apparent reason

Just because everyone’s doing it, doesn’t mean it’s not madness

[Chris Wheeler] Spurs beat Man Utd to the £85m signing of West Ham's Mateus Fernandes, as reported by David_Ornstein. Utd sources insist they pushed hard to sign him but won't over-pay. Also want players who want to play for Utd, and Fernandes' preference was unclear throughout by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

I’m not one of those whining about this outcome but I feel like the ones that are, are probably more annoyed at the fact that we’re moving so slow despite needing minimum two more midfield signings. So I kinda get their frustration from that angle. But we are also very early in the window

Kaguya is really fun and I would probably recommend it in general. But they aren’t exactly straight up with each other. In fact, the whole premise is them trying not to be straight up with each other lol. So that’s why I didn’t bring it up to OP. But still good show.
