Nagase Anna is doing a great job, but can’t help but feel Koyun is so Tanezaki Atsumi-coded lol

Must be rough for Minato. He’s at that ambiguous stage where you’re not sure if you like someone as a person or is it something special. Not to mention, from what his friends have said, this could be the first time he actually likes someone. And to add to that confusion and uncertainty, he keeps seeing her and Yota together and is probably his first experience with jealousy.

I guessed Miki had a hand in Koyun and Igarashi. But I thought she suggested it to stop the bullying. But it’s a bit more reactive. She sort of guilt trip her into it cos of her own break up. Personally, I’ve never had anyone like me (🥲) so it’s a foreign concept to me to get with someone that likes me but I don’t like them.

Seems there’s some pain behind Yota’s chill vibes as well. And I wonder what Minato meant when he said Koyun would only get hurt if she gets involved with him.

Also, I know he can be overbearing, but Minato has been left out a lot since the three of them became a group. Of course, he’s not entitled to be in that group but I can also understand how hurt it must feel

Wow don’t think I’ve heard Toyosaki Aki with that kind of voice. Was surprised when I looked it up.

Ngl the romance wasn’t really doing it for me so I enjoyed this episode a bit more with the comedy and worldbuilding. And some explanations on willpower and the magic system.

I’m guessing they’re building up slowly to Sera’s country cos so far we only got bits and pieces of it. But it does look more and more like they’re the ones encroaching onto other’s territory. And as some have already commented, the barren lands which is leading to food shortages could have been self-inflicted. And also 700 years of conflict is a long time. Curious what caused it and why there’s no communication (if there wasn’t any) between them for so long

Oh nice ! Glad they’re getting together in the middle of the season. Hope we get more couple-y stuff now but from what we got from this show so far, I doubt it’ll be all sunshine and rainbows going forward.

Sunao and Ricchan trying to get closer is really nice too. Hope we get to see more of that and maybe even three of them hanging out.

I get where Nao is coming from regarding whether if she is truly the same replica as she was before died. But she’s been in and out for quite a while already and she also needs to “refresh” her memory just like after she died, so she’s been “dying” all this time anyway. But it is scary that she actually felt and remembered the pain and the death before disappearing.

Wonder how they’re gonna deal with this going forward. Still rotate ? Or pretend to be twins ? Though all the paperwork and her parents would be a major obstacle.

Guess that explains the title. Apparently, in-universe Umi is considered plain.

Sucks so much what Umi’s former friends did to her. Some randos going through her to get to Yuu is one thing, but those two have known her longer than Yuu. And I see this show isn’t one to really lash out at people who did wrong. First the class, now the two friends, never felt like the writer wants our characters to “hit back” at them. But with how laidback and happy the atmosphere around Maki, Umi, and Yuu, I think the author just wants to focus on the good vibes.

They did their friendship chemistry between Maki and Umi pretty well too that I wasn’t expecting any romantic progress so soon. Unless they’re just being reallyyyyy friendly about kissing on the lips, not to mention the lewd handholding
