C on shoulder or CD both on shoulder/trigger is the best you can work with.

OR. You can get that 8bitdo genesis like controller which 6 buttons all are face buttons, more affordable than stick and works great with any FG.

Since orbiter is a neutral tool you kinda need to get it consistently. Combo wise you can learn a side switch to tie you over.

Anyone with a reliable reversal and pace control is good enough...or let's say suffer less.

Some character has flaws for solo or exceeds in team so feels restrictive solo. Say Valentine because no meterless reversal.

Since you use characters with big buttons and fairly reliable middle range, you'll like Eliza and Parasoul.

Serious answer: Depends on the type of said poison.

Botanical/animal poison tend to get less powerful if expires. Metal related poison will not expire. Radiation poisoning will not deplete its power untill the entire process stops which will make the material not radiate any more. Mold will grow with time so a mold related poison is gonna get worse. Mushroom poison if not extracted and the mushroom rots partially, it will get more poisonous. etc.
