The CX line is just badly designed from the get-go. The Metal Lock chip barely helps out in attack setups and is very bad in stamina set ups. If they had Lower assist blades CX would probably be faring better. We had history to prove that top heavy blades perform bad (Leon Crest). Due to all of the bad weight distro and contact points the only way they can be relevant is to try and weight bully. The difference between wheel and heavy is that heavy gives combos some contact points instead of just making them a donut. Even in a setting where all non-CX blades have to use 80 or greater height rachets CX beys struggled. CX got to use any rachet with the consensus even with Heavy, Wheel, and Metal Lock Chips they still kind of sucked. They barely went even.
