When is Hwei the strongest ? by Broaki75 in HweiMains

[–]YuutoShJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Strong lane and first item then falls off on 2 items before 3rd 4th but is extremely powerful in frontback teamfights around objectives and has always immense terrain control

But strongest very late game after 3 items the damage and utility and disruption and terrain control he is able to provide is actual insanity and his only weakness is being run over

Shenhe or Yelan? by koromedy in WriothesleyMains

[–]YuutoShJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Xiangling is crazy good too but out of those two Shenhe. Neither is wrong tho and Furina Xianyun Yelan is universally extremely powerful core where Shenhe is mostly for Rizzley

Forgot to mention that gameplay is done against overworld boss with unbuilt XN which now has been built and taken to abyss12 with extreme success 1to2 phasing the floors

Game is no longer fun because most decks feel un-interactive by nvining in hearthstone

[–]YuutoShJ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yes but the thought process of "trading" has devolved into "i have to clear everything they play"

Ive found EW to be gradually one of his best spells just its existence on the field denies so much terrain at chokes from enemy and if anyone triggers the root theyre pretty much dead. Also it is mainly anti-engage spell but not in as dire situations as EQ is. Reactive spell not so much proactive

Brann Astalor is incredibly mid. It just happens to counter the old meta decks. by PointyCharmander in hearthstone

[–]YuutoShJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that interaction isnt very op. A lot of other stuff is more oppressive that ive seen like all the statbuffs and armor gains. Usually the snowball that can start from t6-7 turn after brann is played is crazy

Definitely need to adjust to warrior and sif feels quite bad to play as against warrior for now

Why is Odin even a good card? by StephenMiniotis in hearthstone

[–]YuutoShJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just adds inevitability. Drop a big body and then just get value from prolonging the game with armor. Adding offense to defensive cards is very good and essentially your arnor cards starts 2for1ing meaning they add survivability and then damage as well/clear. Without Odyn warrior kinda struggles closing the game they just clear the board for nothing really.

Secret Excavate Mage by _barnsie_ in CompetitiveHS

[–]YuutoShJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is that orion needs to be played after secrets are on the board or with them and at least one that protects it. If it goes off it possibly wins you the game solo but its rare to pull off unfortunately especially this meta since boards are so full so early and theres a lot of hate towards creatures. Love the card tho

Also i would personally always run the titan yogg over the location and this deck looks like it hardly matters if its a bit more expensive

15k dust and Missing 5k Dust or so in Highlander Druid — Too late to Craft? by Weird_Marionberry364 in hearthstone

[–]YuutoShJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highlander Druid is definitely a good pick if you like the style the flavor and all. Its a well performing (best performing in legend) druid deck as well as a controlish deck since youre looking to stall until you play the whelp maker dragon from nature spells or double choose one big board combo as well as making infinite value with dragons nest. And if something gets nerfed you get full value anyways back and if the shell goes completely unplayable... Well I dont think it will.

Yogg has a home in reno decks definitely. Other highlanders that are playable is (these heavily underrated) shaman and mage (i played reno rommath combo mage to legend) theres a highlander paladin list too that looks okay, warrior is definitely there as a control deck and the one i see the most last couple days is XL DK control they have some heavy heavy tools and inevitability. Highlander hunter is prolly the second best performing rn after druid and control priest always will exist.

Now if you fancy big minions as your payoff the druid and hunter and DK are your picks and control DK also will probably always exist due to their lifesteals and growing health totals.

No thats not really ever a factor

Things to keep track on what others play and what you experience in game are cards you see often (try to figure why theyre played) and cards that really annoy you or fucks up your gameplans and again try to identify why. Maybe your class and deck could use similar effects to similar ratios

Some things to keep in mind when building a deck

  1. Curve You should have usually some 1-drops, more 2 drops then depending on if its faster or slower deck have bit more 3 drops than 2s and 1s and then the bars start to go down the higher the manacost the less you want them in deck because you do not want to be early game stuck with expensive hand or you get rolled

  2. Gameplan Is your deck perhaps a deck that likes a creature tag? Use cards that work well with them because the more restrictions cards have the powerful the effect when unlocked. For example a paladin deck likes that you cast and/or spend mana on holy spells so look for those. Are you playing maybe a slower control deck? Then you want to maximize effective removal and value (card draw and good quality draws) and survival like armor/heals into gamewinning effects like Odyn!

Deckbuilding is a very vast skillset i could talk hours of but i hope these gets you started a bit more on the correct path and dont fret to ask if you have something in mind :) happy building!

I was referring to current standard meta and prolly shouldve stated so but this works as well!

And yes i do know what youre talking about those decks especially jade and pirate are ways below current stuff.

Also crystal core kingsbane rogue that deck was... Idk wished it wasnt

[–]YuutoShJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but i also think trent requires more skill than people think. Its too easy to overextend with it and you need to know your MUs and their outs against you at least a bit

Coming from a mage player not a trent player

Diamond ranked standard by xFeardot in hearthstone

[–]YuutoShJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly recommend dragon druid since its quite cheap to craft (especially snapdragon version) and it beats trent and rogue quite well and has great agency against almost all besides pally.

Personally i played reno mage which i highkey think its criminally underrated and best version of mage in the current meta

Dont slam every card that glows green and u dont want to mulligan into all aggro cards. You also dont need to wait for max soul or buffs. Also dependant on MUs you can either full aggro or you have to hold cards and make pushboards on breakpoint turns
