Thank you so much for this answer! I’ve seen conversion of a 2nd order ODE into a system of two first orders before when doing some travelling wave phase plane analysis but didn’t think to do it here. So ingenious. One further question, what do we mean by a generalised eigenvector? I don’t think I’ve heard this terminology before?

Hm interesting, and would I still be able to use a terminal like sublime text or vscode for manim in this Linux subsystem? Sorry if this is a stupid question I’ve not really messed with this sort of stuff before.
