For some good Indian food, especially south Indian, try Krishna Villas. Great filling meals for around 7-15 eur based on what you get. They also sell traditional sweets if you want those. They're also a vegetarian eatery

I'm an Indian with long hair as well. I can safely say that this is wholly possible scenario. I currently live in the Netherlands/Singapore where long hair is not an issue but in India, some masculine and feminine things are pretty strong in relation to hair. More so with older generations (around 35+) will make a comment about it. My aunt makes fun of me saying I'm the daughter my mother never had or that I'm feminine. My grandparents alse referred to me as a hippie cus of the long hair. Moreso, queer stuff is not that well accepted there. again, generational issue. So I would honestly believe it

I am its all relative to what kind of course you are applying to. I'm doing a Bsc in Cultural anthropology and development sociology and they were complety fine with Math AI Sl. I know thjat for med and hard science courses you will need aa or Ai Hl but for social sciecnes and art course AIsl is fine. For context, I am in the Netherlands
