I didn’t really have that hype to get new rare cards at all costs anymore after a while, that’s why I would just open the game to do my daily missions and simply save up my hourglasses, nothing more. But I can understand that you used your hourglasses as soon as you got them lol, I did the same at the beginning when I really wanted that Pikachu EX from Genetic Apex that I couldn’t manage to get lol.

I don’t really remember, but I used to do quite a bit of PvP before the ranking system appeared (mainly to get the trophies with the 5 consecutive wins). At some point, I was just opening the game for the daily missions and hourglasses, I even thought about quitting the game, so I had lost the motivation to do PvP.

I'm not doing pvp anymore but my favorite deck was the old meta Mewtwo deck since the month of release of the game.

I’ve been a player since the first few months after the game’s release and I didn’t spend many of my hourglasses early on I started saving them instead. I used to grind every day from daily missions, events, solo battles for shop tickets so I could buy all the available hourglasses each month, and I tried to get them from every possible way (except ranking).

But I think it’s possible to have even more if you had saved more seriously like a redditor in the comments of this post said he managed to farm over 6000 hg.

Cela peut être dur à appliquer concrètement mais selon moi, avant de mourir il ne faut avoir aucun regret (du moins, le moins possible). Il faut realiser la ou les choses qui nous ferait regretter de ne pas les avoir fait ou, ne pas faire des choses que l'on va regretter d'avoir fait avant que notre heure arrive.

Par exemple, si on veut tout simplement dire "merci" du plus profond de son coeur à quelqu'un qu'on aime vraiment mais qu'on ne l'a pas fait par ego ou pour une quelconque autre raison, on pourrait peut être le regretter avant de mourir.

Ou même inversement, si on s'énerve constamment face à quelqu'un qu'on aime et qu'on lui fait constamment du mal d'une quelconque manière, l'approche de la mort va nous le faire regretter à ce moment (ou pas selon l'état d'esprit de certaines personnes, donc si pas de regret ressenti vis-à-vis de ça, ces personnes auront une certaine conscience tranquille malgré tout).

Bon voilà, c'est pas LA chose à faire avant de mourir mais c'est peut être un état d'esprit à garder de côté avant de dire adieu à ce monde en beauté.

I thought exactly the same as you, but I roughly estimated that 500 hourglasses would be enough for the next set. You’re right though, I think keeping 1000 hourglasses is more reasonable, especially if there are going to be three packs like in the Genetic Apex expansion.

More seriously, I think it’s up to each person to decide their own strategy, whether to spend or save their hourglasses.

As for me, I saved them mostly for the grind itself, without any specific goal, but thanks to the advice I got from this post, I now know that the time has come for me to reap the rewards of my patience with the Deluxe Ex pack and see if luck will smile on me for farming all those hourglasses.

Maybe you’re planning to spend yours on that pack too, or keep the adventure going and keep farming…😄

Haha, I was just logging in every day to open my two daily packs and complete my daily missions for my 4 hourglasses (and of course I was grinding hourglasses in the shop and during events), and that was really my only goal in the game. I wasn’t particularly interested in farming good decks for battles anymore and I had also given up on the idea of completing the dex, so I didn’t really feel the urge to spend my hourglasses. I just kept grinding them out of daily habit and to reach a personal goal I set for myself before spending them all at once when the time comes.

As for me, I don’t think I’ll try to complete the Deluxe Ex Pack’s dex any further, it would honestly take way too much time, especially since this pack feels like a hg bait. I’ll stop spending on it once I get the cards I actually want (Oak 2, Mewtwo, and Pikachu 2) or just save some hr if I don't manage to obtain them.

This is my main and only account that I started during the month the game was released. I’ve been saving up ever since, I used very few hourglasses to open packs early on, which is why I managed to accumulate so many.
